Thanks for answering my question on the last vid I’m full on living vicariously through your vids! I’ve two more questions to follow up 😂 how long does it take top to bottom when you can ski to the lift at the bottom of mer de glace?
How’d you learn about mountaineering as opposed to skiing? I ask as a competent skier but wouldn’t know the first thing the minute you have to clip into crampons

Well it depends... You can ski the vb in 20 minutes if you absolutely charge! I typically take around 45mins to an hour to get to the gondola. Most people take 2-4 hours! The gondola is super quick, only 2 or 3 minutes. The train is slow, takes over 30 minutes plus wait time...

As for mountaineering, I joined the university mountaineering club. If that ship has sailed then the easiest (And safest) thing would be to do an intro to mountaineering course
