    Why would anyone dislike this? Fried rice is always amazing no matter how you do it. There's no right or wrong way to cook it.

    I always picture a cool, diverse (myself included!) group of people just off camera sipping wine while Marion does her magic! This is SO SIMPLE & I cant wait to try it. I just made 🍤 /Risotto last night & was even better today. Still have leftover frozen 🍤. I’m thinking this recipe this wknd.

    Thank you for the lovely recipe. Made this tonight and it was amazing. I Don't think I can make fried rice again without the peppercorn blend. P.s. I put in a small amount of kecap manis for extra sweetness.

    This looks delicious! Really want to give it a try but with lockdown and everything it’s a bit hard to find all the ingredients. Could I use something else instead of the szechwan peppercorns?

    Yes, you are genius! Just made and ate it. Husband says it's THE BEST fried rice I ever made for him hahaha Actually he said it's THE BEST fried rice he ever tasted, even better than the ones from restaurants using wok with high fire.

    I always cook the egg first till Barely done remove from wok and add at the end . To prevent over cooked rubbery eggs 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

    You recommend a stone or metal morter? Kosher salt or regular?

      I use a stone mortar. And I use a coarse Korean salt...most similar in texture to flaky sea salt :-)

    My OCD went ballistic when you put the egg in on the rice arrrrgh.
    A great alternative to using day old rice is the ready cooked 90sec microwave pouches of rice.
    The moisture content is perfect for a Wok fried rice.
    Ps, Add a teaspoon of water to the egg when you beat it up for a fluffier egg.
