That 1 story with the 2 guys with handguns in the woods sounds like they were part of a dogfighting ring and were taking dogs to the woods to kill them for losing their fights. Some people who fight dogs really do that sick shit. Except in Japan where dogfighting is legal and ran like a Japanese version of the UFC except for dogs. Those dogs are never killed for losing a match and are highly regarded and treated like a professional boxer. Anyway, that story was really creepy and they were very lucky to be able to get away.

As far as the third story goes, I can only vouch for someone wearing camo fatigues on a public trail. I can't speak to what the guy was doing that day. Anyhow, myself and two friends all went to a pretty big state park one day years ago, and we were all dressed in woodland army surplus camo. The gist of it was we just wanted to be able to smoke weed in the park easier. Technically it's not that weird, cause we had previously seen like National Guard reserve training exercises happening there along some of the main trails. Weed was still illegal at the time, hence why we wanted to maintain a low profile, even if the park is right outside of a college campus. The general population wasn't all that receptive to it yet at that time. When you're on the lesser traveled paths in the park, it's like you're invisible with the camo. Hell, we fucked with a few people off of the main path with some noises and whatnot, no idea we were even there. That was actually kind of hilarious, like we're 30ft away and you have no idea. The weirdest thing though was on one of these all day hikes to this park, we had found a severed rear deer leg strung up in a tree on one of the low traffic/difficult paths that people don't generally hike. It was, unique let's say. It was right on the path at about eye level, so you'd walk face first into it if you weren't paying attention to your surroundings. No idea what significance it held, if any. I guess I should also mention, and it goes without saying, there's no hunting allowed at that park. You can fish there along this river on one side of it, but yeah.

My friend and his buddies who are ex military went camping out and brought all their tactical gear and guns and night vision etc to just do whatever military guys do while camping in a ditch with tactical gear. He told me about this the other day and I IMMEDIATELY thought to myself that someone accidently coming across them would be the kind of story that would end up on here because what "normal" person wouldn't be startled by that in the middle of the woods? And then there was story #1.
