I must say, even tough it isn’t always a good thing, there is a lot of “feeling” in driving an old Ford. 😁👍

Quick question. I have the same tractor, 1988 Ford 6610 with Deluxe cab. Does your temp gauge usually read on the lower end, regardless how hard you’re working it? This is a new to me tractor and I had it in the field a few days ago and the temp rose up just slightly.

This tractor has had the thermostat removed as it was always running hot after a fresh engine was fitted, since it has been removed the tractor runs cool and stays around the quarter mark. I have 2 tractors with this cab and on the other model the temp sender isn't currently working, after i replace it (probably will make a video how to) i'll let you know how the temperature gauge is looking as it is fitted with a thermostat.

@@Sam6610 thank you for the reply! I am uncertain if my tractor has had a fresh engine rebuild or not. It has 8100 hours on it and the engine looks to be newer to me, there is no oil seepage or anything that would indicated it’s an older engine. My temp gauge also reads around the quarter mark and stays there, so I’m guessing someone removed the thermostat at one point also. I appreciate any updates or videos you could do on the subject!
