Perfect timing. This is one of the reels I’m looking at. Thank you.

I agree 100%. Own 5 or 6 Orvis reels. I love my salt reel. But, I find the cassette reels my favorites for fresh and salt. For the convenience I would rather replace it from time to time than change line on the water or buy extra spools. The cassette reel version is where it is at for me vs all my other reels. It feels great to take 1 main reel with 4,5, up to 8 spools and 2 or 3 rods. It leaves me with lots of options every time. Great review and as a fellow non pro the Clearwater is great gear at a fair price. The whole line.

Question, i just purchased the orivs clearwater combow (9 ft 5wt rod) with the clearwater ii reel. Ive swapped over the direction of the line and the internal ballbearing but the drag seems to be off. Any suggestions? When i go to tighten it the actual drag Doesn’t do a thing but when i retrieve the line it slows down and tightens up. Plz send help 😅
