This is proper fishing buddy 😊❤..... love it.....just love it 😊.....takes me bk to when I went breaming 😊..... loades of bagging..... Great memories ❤❤
The key to catch massive bag's of bream is prebaiting,me and mate have been to southern Ireland many of times, but two kilos of ground bait is not enough what so ever on the massive loughs more like twenty kilos plus other bait you may add to it but you will catch loads of fish and some of the occasional bream which are like dustbin lids,so I think you should go there when you get the chance to 👍
@@carlhank65was this recently Carl??? Fished church shore and Houghtons, the last 3 years and not got into the bream at all. Been every year since 75 except Covid 2 years, used to bag up almost every day but can’t seem to do it for last 15+ years 😆😆😆
@johnfryer3149 last year was the last time, your talking 56lb of crumb and fish over it all week adding to it can't remember what part of Garadice we fished in ballinamore, they used to reckon there is a shoal of bream a mile wide in there
@@carlhank65But we have to pre bait from a boat when we fish Lough Ree at Lanesborough because it's practically impossible to do from the bank, the amount we put in there and not just ground bait I'm on about bag's and bags of sweetcorn, and gallons of maggots ,casters, and hempseed to,then leave it to the following day on permit pegs so no one else can fish them, because then we just fish the Shannon at Lanesborough, which flows into Lough Ree which is divided via a long island down to Lough Ree,because the side you fish as got a weir where warm water flows in from some company can't remember the name of it,but you can catch fish all day there,40 or 50 lb in a short space of time a bit of sport, but it's the lough we concentrate on the rest of the two weeks, and we only use four keepnets each now just for any of the biggest bream anything smaller than dust bin lid we put back and we have had 200 lb of those at time's,so god knows how big the shoals must be because most casts you catch them on the drop, but it's not cheap to do at 800 euros for two weeks in bait, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for 👍
@paulcole4902 not sure about where u are fishing, but we used to fish the Woodford river, not a very wide river but stuffed with fish, yes so easy to fish over there, but have never taken hemp or sweetcorn, just pints and pints of maggots in baby baths and red worm 🪱 yes and as you say is very expensive, don't want to say too much as the wife reads my posts sometimes 😉 haha
Now then Adam seen all your ouse bream vids and visited most of the pegs myself, BAGGIN. But hearing of alot of barbel getting court form our lovely York ouse, I've never had a river barbel so a ouse barbel video from you should sort that out for me lol cheers bro. Happy BAGGIN
I find that heavy prebaiting the river ure/ ouse can produce some big nets.i night fish off my boat and I've had nights where I've had 21 bream then give up and pulled my rods in.i broke the rings on my keep net lift it up.i struggled to lift it. I also had epic nights where I've had 9 barbel. Got to put the effort in to get the reward

Try using a roughly chopped bread loaf or two as your feeder mix and a large flake on the hook, never failed me
