I got Mad R major, and I noticed that the left and right buttons feel and sound entirely different. The left button makes different sounds depending on where I click, and some of those are extremely loud and feel like there is extra resistance on press. The right button sounds uniformly quiet and has the same feel on press wherever I click it. Does anybody else have the same experience or is my unit defective? The seller on AliExpress is trying to convince me there is no issue because "it is due to different components". What is that supposed to me?

I had some issues trying to pair the receiver and mouse but it was because I was using a USB hub. Connecting directly to the PC solved it. Other than that, pretty great mouse.
got it today and this mouse is seriously impressive. low weight, perfect sensor, solid coating, good m1 and m2 + side buttons, Flat sides. and that for like 60 euros. honestly insane. If they ever make a slightly more narrow mid hump variation of this mouse we could be talking end game and that from a budget mouse. mad
i wish they moved the LED indicator on the side of the mouse and put it on the dongle, mouse companies should just take things off the mouse and put it on the dongle #putitonthedong i hope to see them release this on amazon aswell, also more color options like pink (like the sorav2 has) (this is a great mouse tho, love vxe's work)
I can only speak for myself but owning the R1 and now the Mad R i feel like they kinda missed the mark with the shape. I first wanna take the confusion away that they are identical in shape. They feel quite diffrent to me. The curves are more pronounced on the Mad R, but what kills it for me is it just feels wider in hand, i've went back and forth so many times to see if i was tripping, but no the Mad R does feel ever so slightly wider. 19.5 x 10.5 cm hands. Again, my opinion, yours may vary, but the R1 is superior shape wise to me.

I wish they made a mini version of this similar to the X2mini. Thats why i returned my R1 pro. Its just not as optimal for my fingertip grip as my viper mini

R1 pro, the only thing the pro max gives his larger battery which means it’s heavier so the r1 pro is about 5 grams lighter, but if you’re thinking of a bigger drop then idk

it'd be nice if you always reviewed a black unit, since with white mice you basically just see the outline of the shape because they're so bright, with black mice you can see the subtle curves so it's a bit more helpful. maybe different lighting could help too idk
I got mine for PHP2,100 (38 USD, non major version) from Shopee Philippines and coming from a R1 Pro you can tell the weight difference. It came with an 8k dongle too and build is as solid as ever no qc issues. Performance is not a problem either because I'm not too crazy about sensor performance and overall its a delightful use of a mouse. I'd take this over a superlight but hey thats just me.

Hi Liam. I use the Razer viper mini and am looking for a new mouse. Between VXE Mad R+ and ATK F1 Pro Max. The shape of the Vxe Mad R is flat, while the shape of the ATK F1 Pro Max is slender. Is this difference felt in the form? And what can you say about the reliability of the Vxe Mad R? It weighs amazingly little. (I use a translator)
You will probably want to go with the F1 coming from the viper mini. Both mice are great. I have only had the Mad R for about two weeks now so I cant speak on longevity but it has been solid so far.
Former viper mini user here (also have Mad R too) if you want viper mini shape go for F1 pro if you want to try new shape and not have problem with flat shape and have little bit claw shape mouse than viper mini go for Mad R

Shape dependent I would say. Had the F1 MOBA and R1 Pro at the same time. Very comparable, and other than shape, more or less the same. Chose the R1 Pro, it fit better for fingertip. R1 shape very similar to Pulsar X2 and the type, F1 MOBA very similar to the Viper V2 Pro shape, maybe a little smaller?
@@rat5795 It has been a while since I researched, but they were made so close together in time, and by the "same" company, so shape is really the biggest different factor. Claw I would say the R1 or Mad R. That F1/V2 Pro type shape is more flat and stretched to be longer/bigger overall. R1/X2 shapes have that back hump that should fare better for claw. The whole X2 shape, and the like, craze I believe came from trying to make something similar to Endgame Gear XM2, which from what I gathered and remembered was one of THE claw shape back in the day (and Zowies, but I am quite unfamiliar with any of them).
Due to my budget, I want to buy Mad R 1k, but I’m not sure if that means I can, once I save up, get an 8k dongle or if that model can’t go beyond 1k. Thanks in advance for answer.

They don't feel loose but the Omron opticals have a unique sound signature.
