6:30 - "Just a little bit quicker" The slide test begins : That one made me giggle, the mouse was basically stuck on the Hercules. But yeah, i'd imagine that glide test is often misleading/doesn't paint the whole picture as of what you'd experience in actual use. Another banger from LGG. Firm base seems to be the best pick for most people with this one considering every single reviewer so far picks it over Soft/Xsoft.
have u ever use the gsr 1? some people said that gsr 1 is really muddy when the temp become hot but for me its quite fast and easy to micro adjust (which i prefer slower and harder to micro adjust) is the jupiter pro v2 easy for u to micro adjust? also, what mouse skate do u use on that pad?
@@kcyzval4432 I haven't tried the GSR 1 yet since I live in a humid country which affects the consistency of the glide. I'd say that it takes more force to microadjust since static friction is so high, definitely higher compared to more popular control pads like the EM-C. 4 corner skates feel a bit faster compared to full slab PTFE skates, probably because of the increased surface area
Been waiting for this one, appreciate the video my guy. I just ordered my copy in XL Xsoft. I will try the Jupiter Pro in combo with the Obsidian Control skates and see how much control I get. Also ordered the Neptune Pro as well to test both sides of the spectrum.
@@kcyzval4432 Yes I do. I had to preorder my copy and on the website it said that my copy should be arriving by the ending of August but it could vary due to unexpected shipping issues and such. Hope this helps.
@@projectc1rca048 how is the pad so far? this pad is in my buy list since people be saying its slower than zowie gsr1. im really looking for a pad that difficult to micro adjust. i hate when micro adjust is too ez. it throws my aim off so much.
I just bought this because I love control pads, after trying other pads ive come to realize Saturn pro was my perfect/end game mouse pad. Everytime I use any other mousepad my Saturn pro just calls me back saying they not like me, now im gonna attempt to try again to see if something can beat it in the way it feels to me.
@tinocabral4201 to be honest I have the original first version of the saturn pro and I don't think there was a choice for xsoft or soft it does sink a bit so I know it's not like firm. I'm not sure how the original saturn pro compares to the v2 iteration but if I had to pick I'd go with soft cause I have a artisan xsoft zero and it sinks more and for skates I just use normal ones that come on my mouse since I use mostly lamzu mice and op1 8k which I havnt changed skates for.
@tinocabral4201 I just wash it normal on my bathroom sink that's kinda big I use dish soap I hear some people use laundry detergent too. But yeah just massaging it under running water with the soap for a bit getting a decent lather than just rinse and dry with a towel like pressing down on it to get any excess water out of the mouse pad then let it air dry
I finally got the Jupiter soft and my god the texture feels so soft but MAN is it SLOW. When they say slow they meant SLOW. It takes quite a bit of effort to microadjust and move the mouse around. I can finally use my lighter mice with this mousepad tho for sure
what mouse u use on that pad? also, what mouse skate? is it tooooo slow for micro adjust? hv u ever use gsr 1? if yes, pls gemme some infos on how slow jupiter is compare to gs1
@@kcyzval4432 i use ulx or my sora v2. I use dot skates(obsedian air). Just 4 corners. I dont have the gsr1 but I do have the gsr2. Idk if theyre basically the same but gsr is definitely way easier to use. Gsr2 feels like a control pad actually imo. So micro adjusting is NOT easy on the jupiter. It takes quite the effort to move your mouse around. I actually got so tired of using it cuz I am so used to control pads 😂

Yes it isn't a 100% accurate representation I just add it to give an idea.
I really appreciate videos like this. It gives you a bit more info to base on before buying
Thank you!
That Hercules glide test has to be one of the slowest ones I've watched glide down on your videos 🤣
This video was uploaded 1 day late lol. Just got the Jupiter Pro in XL Soft, and oh my god it's the slowest pad I've ever used out of the box lol

Great video as always. You really are the go to guy on youtube as an aiming hardware enthusiast
Thank you very much for the kind words!
Your opinion and advise is always so honest and much appreciated. Your video's are by far the best on the internet...

I've heard that skate material has a particularly large impact on the glide speed of the Jupiter. Could you try out some different skate types?
This is correct. There is a lot of different skate options out there
Is there big difference using Soft vs Xsoft?
is the jupiter soft more balanced than the saturn pro?
it is much more controlled
@@AimAdapt yes but how is the balance between dynamic and static friction?
which mouse skates are best for Jupiter pro soft?
anyone know is this jupiter pro is slower or faster than zowie gsr 1 ?
Jupiter should be slower based on boardzy's video
Slower
Are these coated or uncoated thou
Why is your video title suggesting 'Jupiter' pads and then you go on to review Saturn pads??
What’s the texture/smoothness feeling of the Jupiter pro? Compared to the Saturn pro specifically, the Saturn pro in soft is a little too rough for me
so true the type99 dynamic and static friction is not balanced it just feels so off and performs bad
Honestly I’m glad this is the case cuz I’d rather go for LGG for control pads it’d be way easier 😅
Xsoft doesn’t, soft and mid does
@@dominicmansour6194 ???
feels wrong to be this early
lool, I will keep you company 😀😂😂😂
Hi, how would you compare these to the padsmith temple of dreams? Thanks!
which one would be better for fps games? jupiter pro or type99 both soft?
Thanks for the effort! Sub'd
