This is such a Godsend , i bought the Scyrox a couple days back and am still waiting for it to arrive. From my research they seem to be almost exactly the same, no? I ended up with the Scyrox since its shape is closer to that of the sora, great review!
The only difference I feel is the size/shape between the V8 and the Major. Other aspects of the mice are very much the same. I've never used the sora so I'm not too sure how similar they are. According to eloshapes, the V8 has a larger back hump than the sora but it's by millimeters. Appreciate the comment and feedback!
i happened to cop the vxe mad r 8k (non major) after a lot of other competitors thanks for the review :D btw just saying the non major mice has no white outline on their scroll wheel thats something i dont like i like my scroll wheel to be outlined white so i copped the vxe mad r 8k :D

im thinking of buying one of these mice but I honestly don't know which has the better build quality, im using a hyperx haste 1 and that's what I've been used to for years and I finally wanna get something new, but im too scared to buy one of these and find out that one has the better build quality, im willing to buy the mad r major with the 500mAh battery for more hours but 1 I don't know how many hours both of these mice last and 2 I saw some reviews say that when squeezing the scyrox they felt the material move so im unsure of which one has the better build quality and the only thing left is that for me to buy these mice, they check every box of what I want
They are so close in quality, that it's up to shape. The flexing is minor - you would get flexing for something this light with a full shell, but I don't feel the flex while gaming. I don't think about the mouse while gaming.

i just recieved the xraypad jades and i tried them on my dav2 (because thats the mouse that i currently have, but i bought it for the v8 or the mad r) THEY ARE SOOO NICE SOO FAST AND VERY GOOD STOPPING POWER and overall a very worth upgrade i still dont know what to get from both of these mice im planning to buy one of these mice and a pk control pad to up my setup and that pad is very nice from what i've heard
It's kind of in the middle. It's a bit heavy so it might be harder to spam. I've seen really light implementations but the V8 has a pretty heavy implementation. Ultimately, you would have to try it out yourself. If you go through AliExpress, make sure there are free returns in case you end up not liking the mouse.

@@shiro7443 Other than the mice that showed up at the end of the video, I don't have a lot of experience with other mice so I'm not sure I can give you a solid recommendation. Comparing between all of the mice I do have, the clicks don't feel any more or less difficult to spam. If you are able to find what switch your preferred mouse 3 click is, you might be able to find teardowns of similar shaped mice to match them to. eloshapes is a great website to find similar shapes, the rest of the work is up to you to find a switch you like and mice with switches that are the same or similar.
Is it true that the Mad Major + has updated QC compared to the regular Major? The Major + is a few grams heavier but if it's true that the build quality is better I'd go for that one instead of the regular major (even tho I don't care about battery but I really care about build quality)
@@TrVx_ I got a very recent copy and if they somehow have better QC on an already perfect product, I would genuinely be surprised. The copy I have is a regular major and I think it is perfect out of the box. No creaks, squishy areas, the base feels fine during use, even held up to the super glue mod without losing stiffness or usability. @@TrVx_ It's really difficult to choose a 'winner' for the side buttons. Both have minimal pre/post travel (at least on my copies) and they feel really good to spam. I have melee for both OW and deadlock on my thumb buttons and I've been able to spam without issue. The only issue for me was the placement for the V8, where the smaller shell made it harder for me to reach the button closer to the back. So your grip style and placement of your thumb should dictate which mouse is best.
At 8k polling with general use / couple hours of gaming a night, I get around 2-3 days. I also have the low latency thing enabled. I haven't ran it down all the way though, I just plug it in whenever I get a red light on the dongle. I usually do so every 2-3 days. I really like the xraypad Jade feet on my LGG Saturn Pro. They're pretty fast, but on a mid control pad they feel excellent for me. If you're using a different surface, it might feel faster or slower. They're just my preference for my aim style/mousepad. Both have excellent overall quality. Clicks for both are implemented really well. In the short testing with the scyrox, I didn't feel any sensor issues or weight balancing issues. I've used the VXE exclusively for the past week and it's also been excellent. My aim scenarios are in OW2 and some deadlock, so a lot of swiping to slower, controlled movement and I haven't felt any hitches or spinning out. They both have a weight center point at where the sensor is, so mouse movement feels 1:1 to whatever sensitivity you have. They are essentially equal on every metric. It's ultimately the size/shape that is important.

Yeah, I'd choose the VXE mouse over both my finalmouse and wlmouse. Fit and finish wise, it is superior out of the box. I've had to mod my finalmouse and wlmouse in some capacity to remove shell flex and creaking and had to add grips to compensate for compatibility with my claw grip. The VXE mouse just fits my grip too well for me to not gravitate towards it for most of my gaming hours.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by comfort grooves, but the mouse clicks are both scooped for your fingers and the sides of the mice also have dips for your grip. Hope this answers your Q. Thanks!

With the skates and no mouse mods, the mad R was lighter hands down. I used 8 dot skates for both mice and the mad R was still lighter. Even without the skates, I think the V8 would come out to around the 38-39 gram range where the Mad R would drop to around 37.8 - 38 flat. Just FYI, they are so close that your purchase choice would probably come down to shape and comfort. The box for the V8 states it's 36g plus/minus 3 grams, which is a marketing strategy that pretty much says it's going to be 39 or so grams without having to guarantee a 36g weight. Both mice have equal build quality - in terms of lasting longer, they share tech so it's just whenever the 3950 is considered old. Theoretically, you can use these mice for years and years. As long as you don't slam your mice or are hard on them in non-standard ways, they are great.
It was around 38.4g out of the box. The mod only takes off .2-.3 of a gram, removing the screws is only an incremental improvement in weight. Thanks for the q!
It's been reliable and works fine for me. What's important is to lift the pcb slightly so the glue gets sandwiched between the side of the pcb and the screw stand. Thanks for the question!

If you don't have any hangups with ordering from overseas vs a local retailer, aliexpress is great and reliable. I bought both from aliexpress and they arrived in a timely fashion with no issues. I didn't look for either mouse on a different site so pricing may be different for other sites. Aliexpress was simple and I've bought from them before so I just did the same for the mice. The skyrox is a copy of the Pulsar X2H mini and the mad r is a copy of the Pulsar X2. If you've tried any of these mice, whichever one you prefer is the best choice. If your hand size is similar to mine, go for the mad r; if it's smaller, go for the scyrox. If you still cant choose, the mad r is a very safe shape that many can use so go for that one, regardless of hand size.
The coating on both feel great. My hands are always a bit sweaty and I've never felt that they slip or that I'm losing control. It will show some hand oils/moisture but that's easily wiped off and the white/yellow v8's should show that stuff less. They feel kinda chalky (?) with dry hands but still have great grip and feel.

I think since they are the same shape, it will fit you the same. From reddit: I think that in terms of tracking, mouse sensors are near perfect since 3360. I guess their main improvements are in power efficiency (for battery saving and therefore, reducing the mouse’s weight), reduced latency and Ease of implementation and integration. I guess that in all of these the 3950 is slightly better than the 3395. The consensus is that as long as you're human, no there is no discernible difference. Between my ULX, BeastX and the Mad R Major, I don't feel a difference in the sensor. There may be a battery difference, but you can always charge it every night and it will not matter. It's been reliable and works fine for me. What's important is to lift the pcb slightly so the glue gets sandwiched between the side of the pcb and the screw stand.
