I have been picking up black 16x24 canvases, and white latex tub caulk at my Dollar Store! So much fun! The tub caulk dries slowly so I can tweak my design if I want to.
So awesome! What a great way to create the look in an affordable way! Would you be open to showing how the frame was made? I also love the way you styled it afterwards..my duplex is very old and needs so much work and refreshing.. I'm a newbie, glad I found your channel!
AWESOME!!! JUST AMAZING!!! You made that look sooo easy that I’m inspired to try! Will you be posting how you did the frame? Thank you for sharing your gift!
Beautiful work, thank you for the video! Have you ever added paint to the spackle before putting it on the canvas? Also wondering if you sealed it at any point?
Thank you! I have tried doing that but am interested to see what the end result would be. Also, I didn't seal it. I think I'll try it and share it. Sounds interesting.
Awesome we'll at in right now doing a banana leaf drawing on canvas it's in drying mode right now getting ready to paint how can I send you a picture of it so you can let me know what you think Let me know and thanks again
Hey, excellent video. Curious, how did this hold up over time? Any cracking from the plaster? Being on a flexible surface, I'd be surprised if it didn't! Lmk cause I'm gonna try and pull this off myself. Thanks and happy new year!
Yes give it a shot. You could try using wood instead of a canvas. Mine is holding up well but it does a couple of hairline cracks that are not noticeable
I’ve never worked with spackle before but I just bought some joint compound. Is that the same thing? Have you ever pressed stamps or stencils into the spackle to get designs that way? Just wondering? Thanks.
Yes, I've used joint compound too. That works just the same. OOH! I haven't tried stamps or stencils with it but that sounds exciting to try! Thanks for sharing that.
Yes would love too. I’ve been looking for so at work for my home. I think I’ll give it a try my colors are dark blue with silver , beige and black. The tables that can I’m came with it is like a matte silver grey tone with mirrored accent
@@HeartWorX.Creations Spackle can be used on seams. Most use spackle to fill nail holes and other small holes. A drywall compound is also called a joint compound. 4.5-gallon container at Home Depot is like $20. Get Joint Compound. Dries much slower though.
@@fairamir1 Kk, gotcha! TY, anything to save $$ for art mediums-shits so EXPENSIVE & i love using modeling paste to texture canvas for acrylic abstracts, but yikes-SO SO EXPENSIVE, and i don’t choose to deal w/making my own, much rather buy something in bulk like that & have it last a while too!! So if i used the drywall compound & let it dry overnite, will it be dry enough to paint over the next day -i suppose that also depends on how thick U slap it on the canvas too?! 👍😜🌞
Love it ❤❤ and Yes!!! Please more textured wall art videos possibly a comparison video trying other popular substitutes for spackling like joint compound, caulking, and mediums etc.
Yes, please do more textured wall art. Trying to get ideas on how to do mine

Maybe I’m unfamiliar with spackle, but I thought for sure it would dry in that beautiful pink color! I love your work - thank you for the inspiration!
It’s meant for repairs so when it goes from pink to white let’s you know it’s dry.
It looks so easy to do.

Too bad that pink color turns white...lol
Thank you so much for this tutorial
Love it but I’d really like to see how you made the frame. Having the ability to switch out the canvas as need be is awesome.

how did you get it the pink color?
I used a cake design thingy from dollar tree to create the lines🤷🏽♀️
Yes I have those now too.
Can you teach me
Yes I would
I loved it more before you changed the texture. Love it art!
It's so fun making artwork!
Why does it change colour for pink to white?
It goes on pink and when it's dry it turns white.
Do you let plaster dry overnite before painting g?
Yes I do
Yep! I'd like to see more textured art from u. Just go wild, let it go! Thanks for sharing 😊
I'm first. Lovevyout tutorials lovely lady!!!
Thank you
Yes
Yes, M O R E🙂
Yes want to see more thank you!!
Okay will do!
What’s the tool you used for the patterns?
I used a metal putty knife to create the patterns but a plastic one like this is better - amzn.to/3Dmnys2

To do a whole wall with spackle would be very very expensive. Why not use drywall / joint compound ?
What is drywall compound, I’ve never heard of that? Isn’t spackle the stuff they use to seal drywall seams & patch mars where it’s been damaged?

I found the textured art not to be that easy. Spackle not eady to work with, cracks after drying and painting separating. Its a challenge.
