Another '21 JT Diesel on 37s, 5.5" springs, full Metalcloak links and steering. I live about 40mins from the Rubicon and run it frequently. No bed bob, but w/ Rebel Offroad bed rack, RTT, and LOD bumpers, winch, etc. I would like to go to 40s RCV axle shafts, and a regear.
Out of all the upgrades weve done on the D44, the RCVs and RIED knuckles made the biggest and most noticable difference. They make turning so much smoother, and theres no wheele twitch when your locked and climbing.
I don't trust the D44 on 40s and actually being able to do some of the highspeed stuff I like. JTRD beadlocks 37s stage 2 tune - I'm trussed upfront but would like RCVs upfront and then likely go 38" Nitto TG once the 37s wear more.
Driver experience means a ton. I bet if you switched rigs he would still out wheel you.
Good ole Tom out here making sure to bust our chops. Thanks for the comments!
Radical is definitely a must do but also try SOB Hill it is steeper and harder obstacles.
We have to try this summer for sure!
