I swear I went through about 10 videos before I found this one. Quick and easy. Thanks!
Me too‼️
thank you so much for this video, i spent several minutes trying to figure out the written directions on the package. seeing is believing!
Thanks a million! I can hear the mice chewing through the insulation inside my walls at night and its been driving me nuts. I found mouse droppings under my kitchen sink where I keep the can of bacon drippings so I got rid of the can and put mouse traps in its place. I hope I hear the sound of traps snapping tonight instead of the annoying chewing sounds coming through the walls.
If you take the bacon grease away and set a couple traps with bacon grease where they normally feed you'll likely catch them easily enough. This vid gives great setting instructions if you haven't done a lot of this.
🪤 EXCELLENT INSTRUCTIONS‼️ THANK YOU❗️I couldn’t see the instructions on the VICTOR package very well due to vision issues, so I was missing the VERY IMPORTANT part about attaching the long metal part to the bait pedal. I also appreciate your professional advice regarding PLACEMENT of traps, as well as how to hold the kill bar securely with your thumb, while still providing enough space to actually set the trap. 😊😊
this is the best trap ever. I have a small apartment and I have tried every kind of traps from glue traps to poison cube (never buy the plastic traps those are more of a toy than anything) the only thing that have worked for me from the beginning are the classic traps.
The instructions on the package suck so thanks so much for the instructional video, now I'm not as scared to set it lol
Right?! Those instructions are pure trash. Lol!
thanks i,m tired of it going off on my hand your video is the best on the tube bro!
Thank you .Very helpful I was having difficulties setting it.
Thanks for your help. I wasn't letting the trap bar slide up a bit so it could hook to the trigger.
I just set two of these up, easy to set. I just hope they actually trigger, my fingers are crossed!!!! I bought the dcon snap traps a few days ago, but they never tripped I was basically giving the mice a free meal!!!!
Cool. Thanks for the instructional video. Kinda couldn't figure it out at first.
Thank you! I was having a hard time setting it
Take a small square of foil and put a "drop" of peanut butter in the middle, Bunch the foil up so there's an opening at the top. Big enough for Mickey to smell but not so big he can get at the peanut butter without touching the foil. This works.
Sharon Crawford
Interesting. I never have trouble with peanut butter though.
Thanks for uploading man... Really easy...
FOLLOWED YOUR INSTRUCTIONS. Caught one mouse, however, the second one is trap savvy...It is eating peanut butter and getting away. I am using classic Victor..any suggestions out there? Traps set in basement pantry...
Trap placement is very important. Make sure the trap is perpendicular to the wall with the business end of the trap facing the wall. The trap will work best when it is placed in areas of knwn activity. We also recommend using several traps at one time as this increases the chance of capture. In some cases, you may run into a rodent that seems to avoid your traps at all costs, perhaps because of narrowly escaping death in a previous encounter. This will require more clever strategy. One method is to camouflage the trap by first burying an unset trap in grain, straw, or sawdust in a shallow pie pan. Baits should be placed in 3 to 4 small pieces on top of the pan with the trap hidden. Once the rodent accepts these baits safely for several nights, the trigger bait alone may be placed on top of the trigger with the trap set.

Or just use a different kind of trap, like a glue trap. I generally prefer these, however, as the glue trap leaves the mouse alive and you then have to kill it.
Hot glue dog food to the trigger
Thanks!
Every once in a while I run into a trap that doesn't want to stay set. All things being equal there are other traps which won't snap your fingers and are easier to set. The problem with those other traps is that they cost more so there is a tendency to reuse them. It seems the 'smell of death' gets on a trap once it works and that odor repels the mice. These traps are inexpensive enough where you can toss the trap and mouse out once its work is done. Sometimes I find myself tossing out an unused trap that just won't stay set.
Oh I should also say thanks for the video. It is clear and informative except for the issue I get where sometimes one of these traps just won't stay set.
thank you for your kind help..
Thanks for the video!
Goodness, anyone else get as jumpy as me whenever he put his finger near the trigger plate? Thanks for the help though!
Guys.. Hot glue 1 piece of dog food to the trigger! I caught 8 in one night
Thank u thank u help me saved my house from invasion:))
after you put the bow at the back of the trap the thing should be through the circle thing on the bait pedel
excellent video
Thank you Randy Harding.
Thanks!!
Great vid. The instructions on the back of the Victor package suck - this video made setup a snap (no pun intended)!
They oughta come with biohazard instructions too. Had a mouse get caught in one of these and blood was everywhere.
Probably, you having a problem with a small mouse, try using a Mouse glue trap, you can find it online! choose a corner where pest have been seen or signs of activity were detected!
Mouse keeps eating the peanut butter and the trap never triggers. Tips?
Using traditional traps. Tried twice with peanut butter, licked off. Put a piece of bacon underneath the metal, the piece fit underneath and so was wedged under. Put this trap in between, edge-to-edge two other set traps that did not have any food along the wall as seen in the video and still bacon gone and free mouse/mice.
Mike Dunn Thank you! Will try that :)
Yay i set my first rat trap
Thanks for all the responses guys. It was a tiny mouse. I added a glue trap and caught him that night. Hard to sleep with a mouse gnawing all night.
lol cute mr mouse
Yes. Thanks for the video. The instructions on the pack were terrible.
Set it up, and I'm 16 years old. It's just that easy. I used peanut butter. Good luck to everyone else!
Only 16 an already committing miceocide, CMFEO, that is
how Dahmer got started!
I thought the original victor trap had the wood trip arm.
I am terrified of mice, but I don't know what else to do, I have tried everything!!! I told my boyfriend he is disposing of the dead mice, because I sure as hell can't.
put peanut butter on it, thats what i do.
is there any other products like a fogging ? to kill them i know where there getting in the damn vents on my fucking stove top thnx
I’m here after the hot dog vine
Thanks! My place is too small for any kind of humane trap. I hate to kill them, but rather that than have them spreading problems in my home.
Use peanut butter works xd
;-; I snapped my Fingerss!
these are hard to set, be careful
AM I the only one having problems setting it up? it's impossible
Stodoys is a good solution for every woodworker.
The (professional) trap was a piece of crap. The mouse got hit in the neck and lived on for a day.
+kuusteist agreed, it didn't even catch the mice, they just licked the bait off even when on 'sensitive'.
These are not hard to set at all, I am a Woman and I can do this with no problem but still freaks me out eeeks
Women RULE!!!!
You think because you are a woman you think we think you can't do it?
