This is def the freshest content for the f10 535i I've seen, nice alternative. This is better than an m valvetronic cause there is NO muffler!!

I went to a muffler shop where i lived and he tried to tell me i couldn't get cut outs o my f10 because it wasn't enough space for them. I need to try to go some where else. lol. Love your content, keep it coming.
Yeah, it was a tight fit, but I made it work. You may want to look at valved mufflers as an option as well.

Do you think this is the perfect setup or would you go straight pipe with resonator or other muffler instead ? Any issue with the reliability so far ? I plan to drive the car in the winter, not sure how much these module like the cold.
I love the setup. It gives me the option to be loud or stock. I’ve also had it over the winter. I was really delayed in releasing this video. Haven’t had any issues.

What sizes were these pipes boss if you don’t mind, I’m looking to buy these for my car as well.

Does the catless DP make the car smell? Considering it later but i don't want it to smell obnoxious haha.
Yeah, Catless Downpipe will give you car an exhaust smell. It’s better when running an Ethanol blend, but still smells.
Grant, what jackstands do you use on your f10 bc I’m going to buy some and I’m wondering which work best.
Honestly, I had a neighbor give me those jackstands 15+ years ago. I’m not sure on the specs.

@@GodKing804 symmetrical? you know it is only 1 turbo right? Divided in 2 exhausts pipes, when you make a cutout you actually are adding 1 more exit for the gases, in the case of the video, he used 2 cutouts, making a sum of 4 exhaust exits(2 OEM exhaust + 2 Cutouts). When you open the cutouts you are only giving one more exit for the gases to leave.
Just found your channel, have a question. I’m in the hunt for a 535i, probably between 2011-2012ish. Not having a ton of luck finding one but see plenty of 528i out there. I am a bit of a hurry as well as I just sold my truck. Input on going with the 528 instead if I can’t find a 535 I like?
It really depends on what your driving style is and what your looking for. I wanted a car with Hp potential, that’s why I decided to go with the 535i. The 550i has more power, but the reliability goes out the window.
@@JohnsonMotorsports is there really THAT big of a difference between the 528 and 535 for a daily driver that rarely leaves town but does enjoy the occasional power? I had a Maxima SL and really liked it, same HP as the 528 but it could’ve used a little more grunt. I work from home and maybe once a week do any highway driving.
@@gsxr062309 I found a 2012 535i m-sport it pretty much fell in my lap on a fresh trade in at the dealership and I drove the 528i vs the 535i and man there’s a huggee difference the 535i drives like no other the power is crazy ! Plus being that I have the M package with it it really turns heads and looks so good vs the 528i ‘s and the regular 535i ‘s I love this car

Hi bro , question how do get energy from box fuse, did you add a fuse, or you just attach the cable in one of the fuse,

Do you have a hissing sound when giving gas after dp install? Im having a hard time with that..
I wouldn’t say a hissing sound. Did you make sure you don’t have a vacuum leak?

@@timisaksen Check your vacuum lines. Especially the once connected to the boost solenoid. Also, you may want to check the flange connection between the turbo and down pipe. There is actually a crush washer that sits in the v band connection.

Should have went with the valve tronic exhaust. Had it installed on my 535i F10. Sounds really nice with akrapovic exhaust tip
Somewhere in the 3-4k $ ? Can you post any link, seems to be many different models.
Yeah, the Valvetronic exhaust is cool, but this was a fraction of the cost for the same result. The whole cutout setup ran me $175, so I’m happy.
How have the electric cutouts been holding up 5 months later?

That is a 12.3” Android Headunit that I purchased from RVG Performance. Hit them up on IG for details.
Remove the mid pipe/resonator and do an X pipe, will sound more deeper
