These are the kind of really in depth reviews that I loved to watch Jingles do, each one was like a little history lesson into the tank. It has me fixed and engrossed from the start to the finish. The great commentary with gameplay just tops it off. I loved these videos and will continue to come back and love them. Thank you Jingles.
That's what I'd call them without looking it up based on the guess of what they're for. And I haven't been alive for as long as Jingles claimed he was in the navy.
that pause you made at around 36:10 was a realy nice and clear way to show what you were talking about in regards to how armor works, i just picked up WoT and am realy enjoying your WoT series. Sorry about poor spelling , been a long time since i last wrote in english
OMG! Was looking at my tank stats and realized I have had really good games in the T-150 but have not played this tank in a long time. Found this video and feel like I am watching the Atari 2600 version of WOT.
I shortened the grind, while having fun, by unlocking the 107 mm gun on the KV-2 first. It's a LOT easier to unlock the gun with the KV-2's 152mm DERP than the bad guns on the T150.
expensive way to do it, buy a KV-2 just to unlock the 107mm for the T150, but you can do it :) Another way if you find the grind painful is to play other tanks and just collect a massive amount of free experience. Which is basically what I did, spent 6k free exp to shorten the grind towards the 107mm gun. And doing it in premium tanks, KV-220 and Churchill III, gave me a chance to train the T150 crew as well and rake in a tidy profit.
jwenting well, I don't spend real money on WoT. and I prefer not to ever spend real money on it given how expensive it actually is to do so. It's just a waste of money in my eyes. not everyone has piles of cash to waste on the game, and the length of time it takes to get free experience to use for non-premium members is insanely long. My "shortcut" is indeed faster and more fun for someone who has no gold to waste. and besides, who *wouldn't* want a KV-2? Your way would be fine for people who do have piles of money for wasting on the game, in fact it pretty much could rocket you through the tank lines. But speeding your way through isn't always good, since you don't get better at the game without practice, and practicing is easier to do in the lower tiers :)
Phijkchu_Kingnick455 actually, farming free exp to get the 15k or so exp needed for that gun is a lot slower than spending the few million credits to buy the KV-2 and fully upgrade that... and no, I don't want a KV-2. I don't like derp guns, too inaccurate, too slow firing. I tend to miss relatively many shots even with accurate guns, I'd just nerf myself getting a derp gun.
jwenting You wouldn't be buying a KV2 just for the T150 grind. I can't think of anyone going down the Russian heavy line who wouldn't want a kv2 anyway. Haha
first video I watched from you, and subbed! Your the best commentator on youtube imo. I dont know if I should get the T-150 or KV-1S! Keep making these videos, there are very helpfull to new players. thx
Well the KV-3 gets a 122mm gun which does a metric butt-ton more damage but isn't much more accurate. The KV-3 is better able to get in close where accuracy doesn't matter as much though.
The T-150 became one of my favorite tanks in the game. It used to be the KV-3, which I still love, but as someone said it basically is a weaker KV-3, which I love. I've had plenty of matches in it, not even top tank, where I just plow through enemy medium, light and TDs with it.
The radio range determines at what range you can see targets on your map that an other player some distance away has spotted. You "receive" map updates from other players. If you keep the crappy radio, you will see less on your map
those bits in the front of the T-150 with the cables attached to them are called shackles. Like you said, they are used all the time by naval vessels of all types, anywhere a chain, wire rope, or line needs to be securely attached to something
Playing with the middle engine, the stock turret, and the tier XI gun, before the turret upgrade, on this tank can be fun, if you're a patient tanker who enjoys hearing a few dings, and won't rush to take that kill, being perfectly content with trimming the enemy's health (while infuriating them to no end, making them less careful), turning them into neat little kill packages for my teammates. Along with a random, opportunistic, but competent KV-1S driver, I had barrels of fun on Himmelsdorf, just a few minutes ago, wearing out the enemy, and letting him go for the kill, then charge ahead until another "deadlock" situation occurred, where I trundled forward, taking *DING!* after *DING!* after *DING!*, then firing back until the KV-1S saw it fit to put the poor bugger out it's misery. We won the match, had loads of fun, and hey! 600 hp engine, 85 mm S-31, stock turret.
SONBoomer I had loads of fun in a tier 7 match suporting a Tiger P.We destroyed about 6 enemy tanks together(him more than me). This tank is fun on urban maps, wonder why people don't use it more often.
Firefox has an addon called UA-cam HD. It forces the youtube quality to stay at 720p or 1080p, can force the player to stay at small or large screen as well. Not quite what you're looking for, but that's all I really know of to make youtube not be stubborn.
the KV-1S has good speed but at the cost of Armor, but it does have a great 122 derp gun(which will be removed in patch 8.9, but be replaced with a 100mm, which is still good) now the T-150 is basically just like the KV-1 but with better upgradeable guns and thinker armor.
With 100% crew and laying drive and rammer on the KV 1s, it's actually not bad, especially as you can just see the shell raining on the enemy in the face from long range
Ah yes, the rare and elusive scout T-150. I've played a few scout T-150s in my ~120 battles in the thing. It seems to gravitate toward situations where its sad excuse for scouting is actually more useful than being a heavy.
Nope they are shackles "A shackle, also known as a gyve, is a U-shaped piece of metal secured with a clevis pin or bolt across the opening" "A U-bolt is a bolt in the shape of the letter U with screw threads on both ends."
Jingey, fill me in on this, a 60 degree angle doubles the effective thickness of any armor thickness and 80 degrees only adds 60% more armor? I'm really intrigued :) Great video, by the way, sadly the T-150 was a 5 second deal for me since I sold it instantly after I received it for free after the 7.3 patch :D Also, you say it's fast for such a heavy tank well the E-50 is 6t heavier than the T-150 and it does 60km/h :P
Hey jingles. I've been decideing over the KV-1s and the T-150. They both look like pretty good tier 6 Heavy tanks. I've been more leaning towards the KV-1s. But as of late, I've compared them both, and the IS-4 with the IS-7. And I now thing I want the T-150 since of the IS-4. But what do you think?
Regarding the second match: It seems that the people who complain about their own team sucking in chat are always the ones who died at the beginning of the match, usually with no kills and possibly without ever firing their gun.
300-400 xp per win is really good for that tier, you'll be getting it alot faster the the unlucky ones that will only get 100-200 per win, but anyway, dont worry, T4 for me seems to be the tier where price vs gains start to get really skewed, we all have to get past it.
I love your video jingles but i disagree with what you said about the Armour and the gun, i love this thing, one of my favorite tanks, after the IS-3. The armour of this thing is amazing, normally bounce many shots of the front of this, even when i get flanked by light tanks sometimes they really struggle to pen. The gun i love more then the old KV-1S gun, you can rack up many kills and a lot of damage. My max damage in this tank was around 11000 damage and had 9 kills... tier 7 game. Yes i know its an old video but ahh well xD
jingles ive watched several vids of you and theyre great. but one thing ive noticed in each and every garage review is that you really underestimate effective thickness due to sloping. if those sides were at 80 degress the effective thickness would be somewhat >300mm of armor
Dear jingles do you have a kv-4 and if so do you have a video up and if not do you know when you might have that up I always looked at the KV-4 as a monster and just wanted to hear your opinion on it
I am going the route of the IS4, my playing style suits me better in the slower, heavier armored "heavy" tanks. I use two different accounts on WoT and used the T-150 and KV-1S. I liked the armor and gun of the T150 better. The T150's line follows the same rules, slower, more armor, same type of play as the T150. So I guess it all boils down to how you play.
I had the strangest battle ever in this tank, where nobody wanted to fight me...As soon as they saw the t150 coming, they all ran away...But the map didnt provided them much space to escape...So at the end with all my team dead, i just hunted them all and that gave me the radley walters medal with no damage taken on the tank and it was indeed the easiest enemy i ever had.
I've defeated a couple T-150s with my KV-1. It has been mostly since they are way too slow even against a KV-1 and I've been able to outsmart them by just going around when they expect me to come at the front.
I noticed the T34 and T59 on Jingles' team have little tiny stars next to their image on the team list (talking about that last game). What does that signify?
You're going to need to do a new review on both the KV-1s and the T-150 after there boom stick nerf for the KV. However I still think if you're looking for a heavy it's the t-150 you're after, the KV is a medium.
@BohemianEagle Any chance you can reprocess some of these videos and bring up the audio? They are stupidly quiet and I have to turn the sound up. When the ads come on which pay for your bills (I choose not to use an adblocker) my neighbours go deaf. And I wear headphones.
hi good vid m8 , i m interesting where u get this sound effects when u shoot (load noise) , i dont have this sound, u get some sound mod , or i have bad sound card ?
What gun did you use because my T-150 with its 107mm looks at KV-1s like it has paper armor. 45 degree angle your armor so that 90mm gets a nice buff and your tracks will eat up a lot of shells.
So jingles what russian heavy line do u recomend to use the more heavy but slower or the less armored but faster ?? i mean the overall which ones are better
IS-4 needs more skill than IS-7 but is ultimately more situational. An is-7 has triangle armor so you have to face your enemy straight on. This makes is-7 a better 1v1 fighter. The is-4 is better for crowd control, defending a lane from enemy heavies playing peekaboo. The IS-4 dosn't have triangle armor, which is good cause then you can angle 1 way without making the other side weaker. Ultimately, is-4's are used more in clan wars and tournaments, but pub matches is where is-7 shines.
Is it possible that I'm learing how to properly angel the armor of KV-4 while playing tier XI T-150 tank because it seems like they are played very similiar way.
KV1S hull is less well armoured on the sides than KV1,and has 10mm less frontal turret armour (compared to upgraded KV1 turret) so yes, against any tier 8, it's cardboard.
I think that while your grinding out for the top gun the best gun to use is the one on the KV-1S (cant remember what it's called) Also to get the top gun just grind it on KV-2. Much more easier and fun.
rushing into the enemy team and dying is not the only way to scout which is what you might do since what you said indicates thats what you do and think thats what scouts do but really sitting in a bush doing shit is a way of scouting aswell. never said that you do that but you might do it.
i have got a Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 graphics card, and i can only run War Thunder on low quality at highest, or it stops working/crashes the PC, what graphics card do you have and what graphics setings can you run War Thunder with it? i got no problem at all with WoT at max quality.
This tank seems to troll arty in every game I see or play it. Most noticeably were a Hummel hitting right on the front of the tracks doing no dmg at all. (not even blowing tracks off) This happened in 3 different games with 3 different players sitting inside the t-150.
To play KV-2/152 you need team up with a friend with a medium tank to be your close combat guard dog. I would rate it as a slower T-150 that can mount the 152, which is horrible inaccurate, long reload, slow turret traverse, however BIG damage IF it hits
I have the KV-1 and I would like to know which heavy tank tree I would should go down because I like armor but I also like more speed and better guns. So, I want to know what everyone else would do or already had done........
***** but has a better gun 90 more damage and 8 mm more pen costs way more than the t150 and is way more mobile also the t150 has good armor and is very capable even in a tier 8 match
Spencer Vince I have the IS-3, and now I'm grinding the kv-1 to get the t 150. I'm sure for a lot of people, they would grind one line of soviet heacies and then grind the other line of heacies.
This gun was way op on the original KV, a 167pen and 300 dam at tier 5? YES PLEASE! Even though its not quite as good as the 122mm on the other tanks ive always felt this was a much better money maker mainly from the fact that 122mm shots are usually 1000 creds a shot while the zis6 is only about 300 or so creds a shot. This tank funds my is3 and kv4 games with the zis6 gun

I'm pretty sure those things on the front of the tank are called "tow hooks", and are probably there for obvious reasons.
That's what I'd call them without looking it up based on the guess of what they're for.
And I haven't been alive for as long as Jingles claimed he was in the navy.

I absolutely love my T-150. Got over 3 mastery badges in it so far. I think it's a perfect blend of both firepower and armor.
+Squidward Tentacles great now i know im to much like squidward :P
Caiden Wichert Being like me is never a bad thing.

I had a KV-1S review posted last night but the audio was absolutely terrible. Had to pull it and now I need to do the whole thing again.
Can you please do a KV-3, ST-I and updated IS-4
Definitely. It's an essential skill to learn, and the earlier the better.
Not a problem. I sometimes have issues with the comment and reply system on UA-cam too.
first video I watched from you, and subbed! Your the best commentator on youtube imo. I dont know if I should get the T-150 or KV-1S! Keep making these videos, there are very helpfull to new players. thx
Hey Jingles. It's 2013 now. Another heavy has taken the role of most Tier VI Hitpoints... Long live the TOG!
been watching all of these vids , thanks so much for the help man respect
Thanks for doing this review, been thinking about getting T_150 for a while, just learned it needed a gun rammer and gun drive.

With the icon mod I was using at the time, it means "premium tanks".
I've never used any sound mods, sorry.
Most upgrades I had on my T-150 where already unlocked because I researched it through the KV-2! Happy about that, so the 107 mm was already unlocked.
KV-2, no. I have no plans to get one anytime soon, too expensive and low on my list of priorities, but I will get round to it one day.

Probably because it's not that good on other maps, and once fully upgraded, it may leave you disappointed.
Nothing wrong with your English, glad you're getting some use out of the videos.
thanks, i'm going to give it a try. Keep up the good work, you give us a lot of help and entertainment. :-)

Weird. I was using a GeForce GTX 480 and now I'm running a GTX 680, no problems with either. Driver update?
Because WoT only uses one processor core in your CPU, so raw speed is more important than clever CPU architecture.
actually Jingles, the 122 gun on the KV-1S does 90 more damage in the DPM compared to the T-150. close enough.
Furthest I went down that line was the Tiger(P), so no, no Maus here.
Just FYI the Gun mantel is 165mm thick - 90mm spaced armour and 75 below that
Ahhh ofcourse! Should have seen that one.... Thanks! BTW love what you are doing
With 100% crew and laying drive and rammer on the KV 1s, it's actually not bad, especially as you can just see the shell raining on the enemy in the face from long range
How much damage you can do up front, in one shot.

Ghe KV1s which was rushing to him was so small that it looks like a RC tank
I'm pretty sure the KV-2 was third place for hit points at the time of the recording rather than the KV-1S.
Because you can get the T28, T95 and T110E5 from the T28Prot. There's a method to my madness. ;)

Unlikely to happen anytime soon. I don't even have a KV-3 in the garage and certainly haven't unlocked the KV-4 yet, sorry.
3rd place goes to KV-2 860 HP, KV-1s 810 HP.
jingles ive watched several vids of you and theyre great. but one thing ive noticed in each and every garage review is that you really underestimate effective thickness due to sloping. if those sides were at 80

Lol thx for reviewing my favorite tank in the game...and the best tier 6 heavy ;) (It's an old vid ik I'm sorry)
i disagree the best tier 6 would have to go to the kv-2 with the 152mm explosive ammunition
Worth noting on this tank with the 107 with rammer, vents, and 100% crew the reload is only 8.60 seconds.
depends on your playstyle
brawling belongs to IS-7
and IS-4 is more of the defensive type
I noticed the T34 and T59 on Jingles' team have little tiny stars next to their image on the team list (talking about that last game). What does that signify?
I just wan't to say; PLEASE KEEP IT AND MAKE SOME MORE REVIEWS OF IT, I BEG YOU!
Oh I love this tank... It's so fulfilling to be charging a KV-1S head on and hearing that wonderful 'tink' of a bounce..
You're going to need to do a new review on both the KV-1s and the T-150 after there boom stick nerf for the KV. However I still think if you're looking for a heavy it's the t-150 you're after, the KV is a medium.
Dont worry Jingles, its 2013 now and aim time is now nearly half of what it used t o be.
Have you done a KV-2 review? Or a 152 gameplay?
Your internet connection is unstable. UA-cam continually tests your internet connection to avoid buffering.
@BohemianEagle Any chance you can reprocess some of these videos and bring up the audio? They are stupidly quiet and I have to turn the sound up. When the ads come on which pay for your bills (I choose not to use an adblocker) my neighbours go deaf. And I wear headphones.
Do u have any tips for the Tiger, been having a hard time figuring out how to angle it and using it in open environments
hardly anyone dislikes it, especially with the big 122. shouldn't regret it at all.
If you're any good in it, sure. Just take your time with your shots. The ammo's cheaper than the 122mm guns.
hi good vid m8 , i m interesting where u get this sound effects when u shoot (load noise) , i dont have this sound, u get some sound mod , or i have bad sound card ?
What gun did you use because my T-150 with its 107mm looks at KV-1s like it has paper armor. 45 degree angle your armor so that 90mm gets a nice buff and your tracks will eat up a lot of shells.
Personal preference. KV-1S = Medium tank with massive derp
T-150 = Heavy tank with great armor when angling
there shackles and can u do a review for the T-25 Tier 5 German medium tank?
So jingles what russian heavy line do u recomend to use the more heavy but slower or the less armored but faster ?? i mean the overall which ones are better
Hey Jingles i was just wondering if you could help me on my choice between a kv-2, t-150 and kv-1s im not sure what to get after i get enough exp

The 107 mm gun on this tanks is very nice, very balanced.
Is it possible that I'm learing how to properly angel the armor of KV-4 while playing tier XI T-150 tank because it seems like they are played very similiar way.
could you please review the kv 2 because i could not find any one who has viewed who actually knows the proper details
KV1s is just the KV1 with the IS turret. right? so wouldnt that make the KV1s hull like shooting tissue paper when your fighting tier 8 tanks?
KV1S hull is less well armoured on the sides than KV1,and has 10mm less frontal turret armour (compared to upgraded KV1 turret) so yes, against any tier 8, it's cardboard.
Yes. But that's not a super common occurrence in the KV-1S
Not any more, but when it used to be tier 6 it happend quite a bit.
I play on 360, where we still have it, and tier 8 games only occured about 30% of the time for me
I think that while your grinding out for the top gun the best gun to use is the one on the KV-1S (cant remember what it's called) Also to get the top gun just grind it on KV-2. Much more easier and fun.
Those were the days
well not anymore because they will remove the 122mm on the kv1s and will be replaced by a 100mm....... But still which will you prefer KV1s Or T 150?
I actual like the 88mm l 5something nice vid working in the kv1
rushing into the enemy team and dying is not the only way to scout which is what you might do since what you said indicates thats what you do and think thats what scouts do but really sitting in a bush doing shit is a way of scouting aswell. never said that you do that but you might do it.
Practical solution: Do you want an IS-4 or IS-7? Pick the one that leads there.
Fun Solution: Get the KV-1S.
;)
can i use T-150 as a credit farmer like the KV-1,and is the ammo (101mm)cheap or expensif like kv1s and IS
OP should be a golf commentator.
you know, after dealing with soviet TDs and the randomness of their guns, you can actually be pretty accurate with this gun!
i think one reasons why he is so popular is he's voice... doesn't sound like 40 years old granpa :P
i have got a Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 graphics card, and i can only run War Thunder on low quality at highest, or it stops working/crashes the PC, what graphics card do you have and what graphics setings can you run War Thunder with it? i got no problem at all with WoT at max quality.
This tank seems to troll arty in every game I see or play it. Most noticeably were a Hummel hitting right on the front of the tracks doing no dmg at all. (not even blowing tracks off) This happened in 3 different games with 3 different players sitting inside the t-150.
otoh I've been one shot by Hummels while driving the T150 more than once...
***** but has a better gun 90 more damage and 8 mm more pen
costs way more than the t150 and is way more mobile also the t150 has good armor and is very capable even in a tier 8 match
Thanks
ok thanx
Spencer Vince I have the IS-3, and now I'm grinding the kv-1 to get the t 150. I'm sure for a lot of people, they would grind one line of soviet heacies and then grind the other line of heacies.
how do i create a response video? got got a good replay in the T-150 that i would like to show people or even just you @BohemianEagle
Jingles might I ask you to do a PzKpfw 38H735 (f) video and/or if you have the PzKpfw S35 739 (f) to do one with it aswell
