- I had to get this review up before you lot strung me up from the nearest lamp post. Here it is at last, and the wait has definitely been worth it. This is a great machine.

As with all my videos from the Test server, I just try to show you the good and bad points, tell you my opinions and let you guys draw your own conclusions. I know I didn't have much good to say about the T110E4, that doesn't mean it's bad. I'm just bad at driving it. Have a look around at other reviews before you make your minds up - Highflyer15's WoT Tips Channel has a very positive T110E4 review, for example
his older videos are incredibly relaxing, almost ASMR like.

@Samykolon: You can only do that in a replay, not during the actual battle itself. While you're in a replay, press your left mouse button and switches between fixed and free camera.
I've started levelling them but not too seriously. Liking that little Valentine AT.
@Ablenan: Yeah, I made some noob mistakes there, should have known better than to shoot that IS-7 at that position and angle.
jingles doesnt normally like small gun traverse but he instantly forgives the fact while playing. This is a big thumbs up for 268

Definitely. I don't know if it's less armoured there than anyone else, but it's at a completely flat angle, I have definitely been penetrated there.

Do you have an M7 Medium review? I browsed for a bit but I may have missed it. If you haven't and do end up trying it out, may I recommend using the 6-lb gun with a gun rammer fitted. IMO, one of the more underrated tanks ingame.

Regarding the logs you often see strapped to the sides and rears of Russian tanks - The Russian steppes in summer were pretty much a sea of mud once rains started, so the Russians carried logs of timber to lay under the front of their tracks in case they got bogged down to help them climb out. It just gave the tracks something other than mud to grip on to help get them moving.
Quite clever, really, and your typical cheap and low tech but effective Russian solution.
Do you have a Obj 704 Review? cant seem to find it if you have, would you use same crews skills/equip on that as you do on this? assuming thats your playing style
jingles good call on the gld, just wanna point out snap shot and smooth ride DO still apply on TD's for aiming and hull traverse. not quite as useful as on a medium perhaps but still not a bad choice as 2nd or 3rd crew skills.
okay well this video was way too hard to find lol. But I finally got to it, I have the 704 and wanted to see what your take on the next one up was.
If you made me choose between those two, I'd go for the 268, it's just more versatile, you have more options while playing it thanks to the mobility and lower profile. The E-100 TD is damn good in it's own way, of course, but for my playstyle the 268 suits me better.

I have got an obi 268 and I love it! It's very fast and only a T-50-2 can circle u but the E-100 TD get circle by every med and IS-7, T110E5. And the e-100 TD Bouches 2 times in ms front
do you plan on showing off the british td's? im interested because i want to find my favorite td tree. I like the german one but i hate how in tier 10 russia and germany swaps personalitys.
I can't be precise since this was the test server and I don't have a Tier 10 TD on live, but I'd imagine around 1500 credits per shot would be about right.
It was the test server, I was in a rush to get some games played and just forgot.
Today, Tank Inspector tells me the casemate is 189mm frontally.
The tank hull is still 120. sides and rear have been buffed to 80. Still not much, but it gives you better chances of angle bounces.
But the portion of the hull around the Driver's optics is a weakness. The periscope and vision slots actually provide small spots of 0 armour.

Are there tanks in the game that can add only general exp? So, let's say that I have researched all the module of the tank+the next tier tank that comes after it. If I continue to play with it, are there any tanks in the game that can add only the the general exp list?
I'm currently using my III/IV, and my 36' and I will save up money (I can buy Panther right now) and will buy the Panther later, but I won't sell my 36' 'till I grind out the Tiger, which I will use for a later date, When I get my tier 8s, I might get the StuG III to earn money instead of my III/IV, and my 36' would be sold.

With the new Tier X TDs (Obj. 263, Fv215b 183) what advantages does the 268 still have?
this is my main tank. You learn that gun traverse good after a while. For me it is not a problem anymore.
Xp and credits for all games on the 7.5 test server was x10.
What tank so you like more, obj 268 or the E-100 Td?

jingles i wanna ask if u could not say all the detailed info on some of the videos on the tanks, i kinda just wanna see them battle, that's just me though i think u should ask all your viewers that though. just a thought
The port right next to the gun mantle would be the sights port for the gun.
Can't really argue with any of your observations, the gun traverse is pretty bad, and frequently annoying when it keeps forcing you to turn and re-aim at fast moving targets. I still like it a lot. That dpm makes up for a lot of annoying features, but at the end of the day you either like a tank or you don't. The 268 clearly isn't for you. Which one do you think you'll go for?

That will be really hard to flank if the player has his mind in the game. That speed and maneuverability is just great.
Well I must admit I probably was not doing so well because I was trying to play it like a 704. It is a good sniper, but I've found the 268 likes to be more aggressive than the "campy" 704. Now I go to a critical point with the heavies and add supplemental firepower instead of sniping, and now I'm having lots of great games with 4k damage and up. Now having figured it out, the object 268 is once again my favorite vehicle in WOT.
I love camo skills, all my crew in my Panther have it, and the commander has 6th sence. That tanks is pretty much invisable. Best investment in a tank i ever made! :)

Is the speed of the shell as noticeably slow?
Jingles, it would be awesome if you could do another 268 review in its current form. I really need a pros opinion on this nerfed td. I cant seem to make it work like I could before 8.11 I used to do at least 3k damage (usually better) before. Now it just seems I load it up will do some damage and then just die to tanks I used to be able to blow away. I just honestly think 750 damage just is not enough damage on a tier 10 td that regularly faces things like jagdpanzers, 183s, and waffles. I could live with 800 damage but 750 isn't enough anymore once you get to tier 10.
SU-100 had a log, SU-152 doesn't. The crew misses their log. It has seen them through many a tight spot. Does the log return on the ISU or 704, or do I have to wait for the 268 to regain the lost companion?

i just got my su-100 elite and i dunno which TD i should go for. I want the one meant for the front lines, since these reviews are pretty outdated i can't really decide :/

Play your tier 5 and 6 tanks more. Mostly because they're fun, but also because they rarely ever lose money.

If you were driving and you spotted something and wanted to shoot at it, then smooth ride would be usfull, because you dont lose so much accuracy while driving, making the aiming sircle smaller, and making you faster to shoot at whatever you want to kill... could be life or death there Jungles

I am slightly new to WoTs, with 1,500 battles, and currently at 990,000 credits, I have all my research in the German tree, but my problem is I cannot get enough credits to fund another new tank. What tanks do you recommend me to get to earn money? I know this is a Russian video, but I would greatly enjoy some help. -903

Objekt 268 is fuckin amazing!
Like i said, i just got T30 (also because WG dropped T9 MT and TD prices by half for while) and i kept the T28prototype(LOVE IT) so i will get both the T110E4 first and then T110E3. I have played with Object 704 for a LONG time, but i do not like Obj268. You also forget that after moving the "hull" you need to aim again for 2.7 seconds, so it is not really so accurate TD as you describe, plus Object 268 plagues the same USSR tank problem that even fully aimed its shells wont go at center always.

i wonder if we will ever get to see more modern tanks than WWII after all its World of Tanks not World War Tanks and all the contries actually continued to develop tanks after the war except maybe germany =3
Yeah i mean its all about the player, i personally loved the T110E5 and that has been my main CW tank, so i saw the E4 as the same tank, except with a bigger gun, slower ROF, and not as good a traverse turret. I still don't understand the whole ROF difference between the E4 and E3 guns....they're the same gun...and it sorta irks me that the E4 gets shafted. But...oh well, if played well, its an excellent tank. That armor is really bouncy if placed correctly.

had a really lucky game today. i was in my t-34 and artillery almost killed me . i had 9 health, and i had to 1v1 a at2 with about a 1/4 of his health left. ended up winning.

Unless it's reloading, who in his right mind would aim at the front of a 268? The only tanks that would come off better by trading shots with the 268 are the JE100 and 183. If an obj 268 is looking at you, get in solid cover.
I don't even have a tier 9 vehicle yet and I've been playing for 4 months, is that good? My best tank is the is-3, 30,000 easy Xperia till is-8 :D
Same with me. I have huge issues with indecisiveness. One day I want the IS-7, next day the T110E5, etc. I have quite a few tier 7s but no actual tier 8! Haha I just don't have the focus.
don't worry i been playing since February on the 360 i gone through a lot of vehicles and just researched my tier 10 t10e5.
focus on one tank a day. if you have multiple tanks, get the x2 on them and then focus on that one tank.
I was playing for over a year before I made it to tier 8.
PC version and 99% of the time on a standard account.
I'm going to say something you're not going to like. don't rush straight to 10. Try and get a lot of lines to mid tiers, learn how different vehicles behave, learn spots to abuse gun depression, spots good for holding flanks, how to maneuvre to carousel or defeat a carousel. Learn armour angling, sidescraping, and how to read a map. Play a lot of mid-tier matches until you know what you're doing and frequently carry games.

WG encourage you to throw large sums of money at them for underwhelming returns.
