I love all they and you 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😚
I love it, especially the second one. What do you like more Gabrielle, oil painting or on an Ipad ?
Thank you! I really love both. I also go through phases where I paint in one or the other a lot. I can't pick!
Same 😮😆😆I also loved the second one!!!
Oh my gosh I read the title as procrastinate 😂
So good.. what brushes do you use?
Your sketches are so beautiful! Do you mind me asking which brushes you used in these paintings? I love the texture you create in the entire image.
Thank you! I really like the 2B charcoal brush, 6B sketching brush, wet flat brush, and oil paint brush. This was created on a pre realease of Procreate 4 though. :))
can you do the first part where you establish the form and light n shadow , in a slow video with some explanation ?
Ok what brushes are you using ? If i were to guess its one of the sketching brushes?
Nice
Really nice! Does anyone know if you can get more of a rough look to your art on the iPad- I have a more painterly style with square brushes . Is this a finish that’s possible and does anybody have recommended brushes for this ? :)
I dropped a sub and like! These were really well done! I'm not much of a painter myself tho ;-;
What brush do you use To lay down your colors ?
which brushes do you recommend for oil like painting on procreate
Here are all my favorites! For an oil painted style, I like turpentine, the 2 oil paint brushes, and the bristle brush. Happy painting!

You can literally make Miss Universe contestants from scratch :OOOO
Like number 300.
good
Hi Gabrielle,
Those are great!
One question: how hard would you say it is for someone used to traditional mediums to get used to digital painting? (I'm considering acquiring the hardware)
Thanks for sharing your wonderful work!
You know, personally for me the transition didn't feel that strange! But for other people I've heard it did take a little time. Either way, I think all digital painters would agree the time put in was worth it since it's a lot of fun. :) thank you and happy painting!
Thanks Gabrielle. I think I'll buy a wacom tablet and give it a shot :)
These were actually made with an IPad Pro. Both IPad Pros and wacom intuos tablets I've tried and loved though. Best wishes!
Thanks for the great tips. Who knows, maybe I get the courage to show you some of my doodles :D
Took me years. I started off with a bamboo, it was super hard to use so I only used it to color drawings I had to sketch and ink by hand because even lining over my pencils would ruin proportions if I did it digitally. Then after a bamboo I got an intuos and it was still uncomfortable then when I went back to my bamboo I found it easier to work with because it was smaller so I didnt need to use so much blind arm movement as with the intuos.
Then I got a cintiq companion and it was also super hard to use. I actually prefered using a intuos or bamboo. And my cintiq had hardware issues. (Dont get the companions wacom got class action sued for them being faulty)
Now I have a mobile studio pro (their replacement for the faulty companions) and I love it! But a few days after that I got an ipad 12.9 and I love using it far more. It feels far more natural than the cintiqs in my opinion.
What brushes do you use?
What brushes did you use?
How long you draw one portrait?
Where do you get your references from????
For these I referenced Forever 21 models :)
