- Hey all! I know it has been a while but I am happy to be back with another Oregon Trail video. My uncle, cousin, his friend, and I went on a 3 day road trip on the trail uncovering lost relics from emigrants and soldiers. An amazing coin is found at the end too!
Also, please excuse the typo at 6:54, I meant to type “Soldier” and not “Solider”.

Did you come back up to Nebraska for this?
That looks a lot like Eastern Kansas - especially with the wind.
Awesome finds 👏
Thanks!
@@GreatOutdoorsDetecting no problem 👍
Nice seeing you get out brother! It would be awesome to get together and do some talking and digging!

Awesome !!! Thanks for sharing !!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Great finds fantastic!!!!!
You are making me jealous Bob !!!
Congrats men. What kind of metal detectors are you guys using. Thanks
Well done. Does different metal types produce different type of sound frequencies on the metal detector, what I mean is do you have an idea of what metal type is buried before you dig it up.
Very cool. Nice job
Great finds enjoyed the video
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed
Nice jaunty trip down the Oregon Trial - what a different world it was back then? Nice to see y'all digging again - what are you up too, now, Zach? Take care & keep diggin'!
Thanks Wonda! Glad to hear you and others had missed the videos. I’ve just been busy this year as I’m in Seminary currently and had some other life things going on.
@@GreatOutdoorsDetecting Good luck, Zach with your studies and hopefully it's good things keeping you occupied? I'm sure The Church would benefit from your participation! Keep safe!
Great finds!
Thanks so much!
Zach i met you well you were making a video in Ottawa ks on south locust street and you were with your friend Jim
Awesomeness!!!
Thanks Will!!
What sort of things from the actual pioneers have been found??
Wish I was with you fellows🙏
Excellent video in the way that you edited it. New sub here.
Thanks man welcome to the channel!
I love this channel but wonder why you don't upload in at least 1080p?
How are you doing this? I was told by a park ranger it’s a felony to take these things off federal lands?
It is illegal anywhere in the state of Oregon unless on private property. Also in Oregon you are only allowed to use an ice pick, screwdriver, or small knife to pull out of the ground.
Hey! How do you find your spots to dig? Also, I live in Omaha and am wondering if you got a permit to dig in Nebraska.
careful crossing the river, you dont want to lose any oxen
classic - its a standard to be challenged
I think it's Cavalry..
which part of the oregon trail?
Travels through history…
Salam hunting dari Indonesia 🙏🙏
Does the use of the detection device require a government permit or a usage license?
No. But it's super illegal to be digging and taking things from the Oregon trail. There are people in prison for a long time just for having too many Indian artifacts in Oregon. Usually only allowed to pop out visible surface finds with a screwdriver or something but definitely not on the trail.
Thank you my bro❤
@@Coins_world1 Ya I can metal detect basically anywhere in the state but there is also the santiam wagon trail that's off limits or a few other protected things off limits. You can still see the wagon ruts in the ground. I would suggest if you find yourself digging somewhere questionable just don't post it for the world to see.
@@zzzzzz3708Thanks for your help, my friend❤
Why don't you guys use a spray mist plastic bottle to easily identify what you find? Work smarter, not harder.
First!!
