Paul Bearer being the best joint roller is one of the best things I’ve ever heard
Paul Bearer, Moody as we called him, did roll incredible joints. He used to call them "number 2 pencils." His best joints were what he referred to as "Mardi Gras Specials." I will not say what made the different than the number 2 pencils Ha! Funny guy, loyal husband, good friend. May he continue to rest easy.

I met the Godfather, back in the late 90s, right in the height of his pimping days, lol
Ric Flair owned a Gold's Gym in Greensboro, NC and I used to go there and work out. When the WWE was in town, some of the wrestlers would go there during the day and work out.
One day I saw the Godfather there. He was on a machine doing bicep curls. He was gigantic. Every bit of 6'6, 300 lbs.
I just walked up to him and asked, "Where the hoes at?" He laughed and pointed outside towards the strip club a couple of blocks away and said, "They're down the street!"
He was a cool guy, friendly, laid back, just like he seems here. He was with Viscera too, just he said in the video

Great interview man, any idea if Godfather was close with Candido? Seems like he was, demeanor totally changed when the subject of Tammy came up.
I wish I’d pressed that a bit more tbh. I don’t think he and Chris shared much time in WWF locker rooms - a few months at most. But Godfather would have been there for the last year Sunny was around, which is probably more than enough time to grow to dislike her! Speculation on my part and I wish I asked follow up questions, but aside from Sunny he pretty much didn’t get into anything negative in the whole interview so he may not have shared any more beyond that.

Not casting stones here, but I still believe she was at least 70% responsible for Chris' early demise. Anyway, I hope she cleans up & straightens her life out. Watching other videos of Godfather, I wouldn't think he had an issue with anyone till Sunny was mentioned.
He’s not wrong. I knew the late “Moody” as he was known by his friends here and not only could he roll a joint tighter than anything. He called it “burning hay”. He even had his own stuff he called “Mardi Gras mix” which had different substances sprinkled on it and would cause mayhem with anyone that smoked it. I wasn’t a pot guy, never even smoked a cigarette, but I’ve seen him be the last man standing on several occasions. If he were still alive and had his own podcast where his actual personality could come through it would be a smash hit. He had an evil sense of humor.

Agreed, because to call someone a piece of shit that was 19 apparently 🙄 in the wrestling business is low, low. She may have had her issues, slept around, but I am pretty sure he isn't perfect either and wasn't back then or even now with the ladies. Definitely sore with rejection at her peak for sure. As others have shared stories and the majority never stooped so low with comments on a pod cast interview.

Always loved Godfather. Great heel too in his Right To Censor days. Looking back that was an awesome faction, one of the best heel factions ever in my opinion. They weren't a cool heel faction like DX or nWo, they were properly full heel, white hot heat, despised heels. They did their job so well and their matches were always really good. I don't think there's been a heel faction as successful as that since, and Godfather was a big part of it. Under rated.

Didn't you think that Sunny was a huge egotistical jerk, though ? It always seemed like when she was in the wrestling business that she wasn't very nice to people. Tom Prichard said the same thing. He said that when he, Chris and Sunny were together that Sunny wasn't very nice to other people. Sunny also didn't get along too well with other managers like Paul Bearer and Sable. Her drug/prescription painkiller addiction was one of the biggest reasons that Vince McMahon decided to let her go in July 1998.

And it's come back to bite Sunny and get even with her for all of those times when she was mean to other people. I always thought she was a narcissist. And I remember watching the introduction promo when her and Chris Candido called themselves Skip and Sunny. They both used to laugh at the WWF fans and mock them for being so out of shape. Well, Chris is dead and now Sunny is the one who looks out of shape. That is a good example of karma coming back to haunt Sunny and get even with her. What goes around comes around.
Skip and Sunny were gimmicks. Candido was a great human being by all accounts. The Kliq would bully him and use backstage politics to abuse their power and make sure he was not having a good time in the company, all while using Sunny against him.
