This is my favorite EP I’ve heard since the big old c-19 hit us.
This is also the heaviest shit I’ve heard in a while. Distant was my first introduction to death core/slamming death metal or whatever this would be called. I can’t call it anything but perfect. I’m so so so ready for more Distant. I’m a mega huge fan now. Added to my favorite metal albums ever playlist.
"Call of the Void" from Ingested is also pretty good.

Ok so I have a new favorite EP for this year, every single bit of this was perfection! Also...say, are my ears fucked from how heavy this whole thing is, or did they bring the False Gods ambience back into the background of The Void? Because if so, that is a real solid hook back to Tyrannotophia, I'm a fan, and if they make like a leitmotif thing with this for the Tyrannotophia saga, I'll actually sacrifice something to them because that is just 🔥🔥
