That was beautiful, make noise has some of the best product demos. This one is my favorite so far. I think i'll be saving up for my first make noise module now.
Wow. Just to be clear: if I was in chromatic mode and wanted it to play C-F-B, I'd play CFB on my keyboard quickly, and the Telharmonic would play C, then CF, them CFB upon each d-gate?
The Color Window shows a different set of colors in this mode, but you probably need to listen. If Degree changes with nothing patched to D-Gate, then you are not in Shift Register.
is it two seconds or three seconds? i feel like my tELHARMONIC is only changing modes after holding for around three seconds and then five seconds for the Spiratone mode. how does one exit each mode. Standard, 3 voice, and Spiratone?
I'm really interested in getting this module. I was wondering if it is possible to be able to send out 3 separate 1v per octave signals (say from my ES-8) into the tELHARMONIC, thus giving me control over each individual voice that the chords produced from the tELHARMONIC comprise?
As usual in Make Noise clips: no explaination, no how-tos, no depth. Even their manuals don't give answers - as if they don't know their own modules. This is such a waste of attention.
Page 18 of the tELHARMONIC module describes the workings of this mode in precise detail. If more information is needed feel free to contact technical at makenoisemusic dot com and we will help you out. Or if you feel your attention would be better paid elsewhere, feel free to disregard.
Butterfly in the sky
I can go twice as high!
that last minute oh my goooooodddddd
Honestly I sub for the music in the demos.
I would own this, I would just let it run randomly in the background all day and night.
Agree, throw the tv out the window and put this in its place.
Yep, I could listen to mine all day and night. Best module I have, especially when paired with Maths.

Sounds like the Reading Rainbow Theme!
James such a good call
The Reading Rainbow theme is performed on a Buchla synth.
So much for the rest of my night....sounds so damn good!
that sound, was already interested by this module, but that ..... sound, last couple minutes. beauty, thank you.
Rocking that Mk1 René, I see. Very cool.
We were doing that BEFORE it was cool ;) (btw this video pre-dates the release of the mk2 René by ~3 years)
Absolutely beautiful. You're an incredible synthesist and a very smart designer, Mr. Rolando.
+David Hrivnak He is. This one is designed by Tom Erbe though. :)
Firmware by Tom, hardware by Tony, patch by Walker :)
Oh! Well, it takes a village.
that last bit was excellent
Beautiful.. no other words.
Butterfly in the sky
My first make noise module, enchantingly exquisite or is it the other way round?
Is it possible to buy this whole configuration as one? It seems to be different from the cv/buss synth...

Sam Levine yes that’s pretty much right. To get just one note you would play the same note three times in a row.
this is one of those 'wow' demos
Is there a way to know which mode you’re in by looking at the panel, or do you have to patch and listen to find out?

Nice. 👍🏼
Now I have to get one.

+0neTwo0neTwo Exit 3-Voice or Spiratone by holding H-Lock until it returns to standard mode.
alright thanks!
Here's a longer video I made, exploring that mode: ua-cam.com/video/NvAR3jus-ik/v-deo.html
A digital organ!

theres only one pitch in
Is it possible to get the same effect using optomix instead of the lxd?
+Tony Rolando nice. This is such a great patch.
Yes you would patch to the CONTROL CV IN and set the associated Attenuator Full Clockwise.
