Hearing these pilots as they go over everything was great. Seeing the cockpit of this amazing 737-800 is amazing. Hearing their radio was great as well. I enjoy seeing and hearing everything. An amazing view outside these windows; I enjoy looking through a window while flying. Awesome landing that sounds amazing by these great pilots. So many other planes to see while taxing. That new airport looks amazing from the outside looking towards it. I always enjoy seeing, learning, and hearing something new. Awesome video; I love it.
I thought people were wondering what they were talking about because of the pilot's tone. Also these two pilots having same issue too with the ATC radio.
i am very excited for just planes to brought out my favorite Boeing 737-800 ! i hope all of you enjoy just planes video! his been doing such and fantastic job of his videos! is a very lovely and awesome videos! giving him alot of spam of likes! show him love! we both respect each other
Great to see you on Just Planes. I loved that nice slow taxi to the gate as it gave me a chance to see something of that airport and the other Captain with you did a really nice soft smooth landing. Thanks Captain Denys.
@@PilotBlogDenysiss you a lot 😢 I was always an Airbus fan, then one day I saw your videos. After that I was a regular viewer to your channel , really loved your pilot eyes POV videos. I couldn’t understand the procedures you’re doing on the 737 cause I was used to flying Airbus on the simulator (back in 2021). Today, in 2023, I’ve gained some amount of knowledge about the 737 and flying it on MSFS. Every time I fly the 737, it reminds me of pilot blog who inspired me to switch to the 737. Hope to see you again soon ❤
It was a great cockpit video. The compatibility and experience of the cockpit crew is very important in this video. I landed at the Istanbul airport with you in my FSX Simulator program :)) Congratulations to both of you. Thank you .
Good job guys even though the destortion at the radio. PM managed it well. Istanbul is a bit tough after landing but that you made it easy due to nice briefing. And the truck on the taxiway was a shame for us. Keep up the good work! PS: I'm not sure iPads are certified to use as EFB. At least not in my company :)
I'm a big avgeek, and have a huge interest in aviation, probably because I've lived on a couple of USAF bases, and likely why I can name almost any type of plane I see. Really sucks about the whole political situation between Ukraine and Russia, but nonetheless, this video still helps to take the mind off that ordeal. And it's amazing how much concentration is required to land a passenger jet! Awesome channel!
JP...Hello! My favorite Capt Denys in this video!! Ukraīne pilots are so exciting to follow....very enjoyed! Denys great to see you!! Many thanks for fantastic filming JP;)) Happy greetings X Betsy........
Why did the pilot have to manually deploy the speed brakes (ground spoilers) on landing? Also. Does anyone know what that red tag @38:40 says? Looks like ".... Power....". Can't make it out.
Hi) thanks for questions;) For safety reasons, to avoid a bounced landing and to improve a landing distance (stop distance). A pilot should verify that the speedbrakes are deployed before applying reverse thrust. So in general it’s for safety and performance reasons. And that red flag is simply reminder of engine thrust rating. In this case it’s 24K pounds. CFM56-7 also can be 26K and 27K.
Is this always the case with Istanbul tower? Not only you but also some Turkish pilots had trouble communicating with approach from what I could understood
I always hate it when flying online sometimes the ATC's voice is unreadable, but there's a text feature so it doesn't really bothering. But in real world anything can happen like in this video. Kudos to the crew, keeping everything in control and always confirm any information when in doubt. Please keep making this kind of videos JP, full of detail and aviation-centric.
Some pilots having problem with the frequenty lag with ATC, they need a renew or fix the transponder. the video is old the problem its still not solved.

Very nice to watch 737 which is the one that i am technician of it, in operation.
nice video. you can see the rnav procedure RIXEN 1P with short cut to INSTA
Ironically. In the maritime world a (harbour) pilot guides the ship into port, whereas in aviation, the "Follow me" guides the pilot. :-)
hey that is Pilot Blog! amazing!

Are pilots allowed to put go pro's in the cockpit ?

Hi Captain Denis @Pilot Blog
Hi
Does the captain knows how to handle with armed speedbrake...?
interessante. Bravi.
Glad you enjoyed it thanks
I don't get it, why Captain manually rise speedbrakes if they were armed ?
To be sure I guess🙂
Actually there are several reasons, and one of them to verify that it works instantly without delay.
Known as good practice😉👍
