From another Yugituber, Dehalove, who is an Ogdoadic specialist and also went over the regional build: - Karma Cannon is a Thrust side for going first only. - Dharc synergizes with Queen’s removal effect. - Azalea synergizes with the deck’s many Spell uses. - CoH & Mind Control was just for Apoll, but according to the duelist who played this, they were easily cuttable. Glad you covered both deck lists. Love me some snakes!
I didn't make Ogdoadic meta I simply made a starter guide going over some of the lines😅 In retrospect my stuff was kinds flawed and was mostly 2+ cards All the more power to whoever figured the deck out in a competitive environment
Im currently messing around with a 55(ish) card Horus build. Great for milling with Zombie Vampireor regulus search with Sargas. If you open Lios Imsety (basically 7 copies of each) you're ending on Alien lock with Regulus ( Alasia attached), Sargas and Lars.
IAS is more of a meta call since I think Night Sword Serpent is the better level 4 reptile extender, but IAS was definitely the correct choice since 99% of relevant decks now have field spells, so having a recurable beater that outs monsters is really good. Yeah King and Queen are really good in simplified game states since you make them lose more resources while you gain some in return for them performing simple actions.
Reptiles are kinda like a new age branded, the best way to play it rn is to play with so much engine/extenders that you overwhelm the opponent. As long as you know how to play around ht's and break boards you can be successful. Idk if the TCG variant is strong enough to play a lot of non-engine it really depends on the pilot.

When you say the snatches were for Apoll do u mean Apollousa? It's not in the list that's why I'm confused.
@@TCGNistro For stealing apollousa clearly.
@@TCGNistro yeah I meant Apollousa
Ogdoadic has been the sleeper I've invested the most into since its release. I just really like their design and theme.
The day konami makes some decent extra deck reptile monster it's a wrap
This is quickly becoming one of my favourite yugitubers with the amount of rogue decks this man is crafting into meta threats

Reptiles rise up;;;
They can rise up but not too much I'm not trying to get monster effect locked for 2-3 turns😅

Love this reasoning
Now for solphacord
I hope you're okay with Melodious😅, post lede they're the singing bitches in the meta
Reptile sweep!!!
soon Raika !
I dueled against a ogdoadic deck once, dude was busting combo i never seen before with therion and sprigans
I love therions in the deck, it's hard to make space for them without hurting overall consistency tho
@TCGNistro well that guys didnt care wish i saw his deck profile. Made myself a promise to not mess with ogdoadic players
As an ogdo player 1. Fuck yeah 2. How lol
Jokes aside the list is pretty close to what I have. Must’ve piloted it very nicely

@@TCGNistro I used to love the rokket build. Have the evol built but haven’t played it really
If anyone knows this player, tell him to reach out to nistro. We need the explanation lol
That would be so helpful like I'd love to take this deck to an event
@@TCGNistro also a fun interaction I didn’t think of is if you play the zombie vampire, you get to treat a stolen monster as lvl 8 to make it
@@jkromes20 Ngl I've never read that part of the effect🤣
@@TCGNistro that’s fair bc who plays vampires? Lol
