For me Lunatic Calm is like good wine - it only gets better over the years. Thanks a lot Simon! Your music has greatly influenced my taste. Hope this is not the last exclusive from you! I'm looking forward to the Metropol Delux version!
Thanks Brady - this is definitely something of a badass mix, i think. When it came to the album the record label were constantly 'concerned' that we didn't have any singles (as such) on the record, which is how the album version came into being in such a condensed form.
This is fucking awesome! I grew up hearing Lunatic Calm in videogames, you're probably the very first electronic band I got into and I'm so glad you're still doing music and releasing these unreleased bangers :)
@@SimonShackletonMusic thank YOU for all the awesome music! tbh i was really young when i heard Lunatic Calm's Leave You Far Behind in Jeremy McGrath's Supercross World on the gamecube, and Test Drive 6 on playstation. it wasn't until my teen years that i started to get into music, i discovered metal and punk rock then got really into 80s industrial/EBM/experimental stuff, synthpop and new wave, and then went on to 90s rave, house, breakbeats, just becoming a fan of electronic music in general.
Glad you like it! It had a full-on remaster from the original mixdown but I agree - the sound quality of what we did definitely holds up for what was a home studio recording!
Whooooa! What is this insanity that my ears love! This is the first song that I ever heard by Lunatic Calm and it was on Need Fire Speed 4 : High Stakes. The rest is history but this was great to see pop up today. Thanks Simon for continuing the ending things you do for all of your fans. 💯🔥
Outstanding work. Roll The Dice (Teckbreak Mix) has always been one of my favourite tracks, so this is a real treat! is this available anywhere to buy??
@@SimonShackletonMusic that would be to die for. imagine a remastered Metropol experience with the excellent 'double o series' mixes and any other unreleased gems bundled in. would especially love to hear the complete, original artistic vision, such as the LYFB '96 version

Thanks so much my friend! Great hearing feedback like this ... and no, this won't be the last exclusive from me by any means :)
This mix is so SINISTER! I honestly enjoy it more than the original mix but I can see how the release version fits the Metropol theme more.

Thanks so much Michael - honoured to have been the first electronic band you got into. Where did you gravitate to after you discovered us?

Loving this. Thank you so much. Suits my current mood perfectly 😘
Fantastic - so glad its floating your boat :)
That's a nice version! Good to be able to hear it after so many years. It even sounds great for todays standards.

Thank you Sam :)
@@SimonShackletonMusic there's nothing to thank me for. Rather I have to thank you for making such amazing art. I have done nothing to deserve this :)

Not yet - but I'm thinking of creating a Metropol Deluxe release at some point in the near future
