      They really aren't used to it and their snow removal budget is super small, being less than an eighth of the budget in Toronto.
      And most Canadian city snow removal budget is way above a quarter of Toronto's.
      Vancouver is basically the British Isles of Europe.

    LOL imagine shelling out $80,000 for a king-cab pickup and having to be pushed out of a dusting of snow because you're too cheap and/or foolish to opt for 4WD and a set of winter tires

      Pickups don't cost that much! Besides, you are contradicting yourself by saying "because you're too cheap".
      $80,000 is not "cheap". Even luxury pickups don't fetch a price that high!
      4WD pickups cost around 50,000 US $.

    Thumbs up to those who had to physically go to work through this weather. Multiple thumbs up to those who work on the snow - not an easy job and definitely not appreciated enough by ungrateful Vancouverites.

      @ballaking1000 2 роки тому

      Have you thought about the drafters, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and technicians who built your home ever since you moved in? You're so unappreciative and ungrateful to them. Have you thought about the thousands of soldiers who died for your freedom when you step outside your house this past year apart from rememberance day where you're 'forced' to think about them? You're so unappreciative and ungrateful for those fallen soldiers. Do you think of the hardship farmers go through whenever you're eating your food? You're so unappreciative and ungrateful for them.
      There's thousands of things we can say we are grateful for, are we supposed to run tabs on EVERYTHING and put energy into all to make sure we are on top of staying 'appreciative'?.. We are all living our own lives with our own problems/struggles and can't put focus on being grateful for every single thing- we're too busy. You think 95% of people working on the snow would be doing so without pay? It's their job.
      Self-righteousness is such an ugly trait. You have no idea how grateful the people in Vancouver are (talking to some family members and 4 locals doesn't equate to the 4 million who live there) but you pretend you know they all aren't grateful so you can take a stand to how noble you are. Get real.

    This is a blast mix of normal winter weather (it used to like this easily having 1 foot of snow in 1 day and 2 feet the next) AND Weather Manipulation. Last Sunday night came the first 2 inches: there were tiny, minature hail sized "snow"...looked like packing bubbles for a box to be shipped...only smaller, no snowflakes only these small 1/8" sized round balls. Never seen anything like this. That Sunday, counted 6 Chemtrails in the sky...then came this little snow. Today, Friday, and all week except one day a little more snow: Monday ~ about a foot/14" but Friday, there is "ice" on the whole car, about 1/4" thick; never ever seen such ice; this is also Weather Manipulation with a freezing quickener in the Chemtrail Mix. On top of all the snow is this type of freezer ice everywhere, very slippery. This is the same type of Cold weather that was done in South Dakota where over 10,000 Cows Froze Overnight in one night. All the farmers there too said it was the Chemtrails that caused it. We are being treated with disdain and hate, poisoned by the nano aluminum, strontium and barium and other ingredients : in this case it is a 'refridgerant in the cocktail mix from the chemtrails. We know, if you've done even the minimum research that the Climate Change is a complete scam just to tax you more and more and more and more. Worldwide thousands of scientists have debunked the computerized forecasted charts by the so called bribed scientists "employed" the United Nations. The UN is in on the same Deep State Program. They want to stop the normal rays of sunlight; that's what they are doing. Plus in the meantime, they have developed capabilities to create any kind of weather scenario you can think of. How do you think all these Floods are happening all over the world in the cities, villages and towns? About time we had all this Stopped!!! Go to : geotechengineeringwatch.org and educate yourselves. Take care. Stand up for yourself and God Bless, God Speed. Merry Xmas!!! Cheers!!

      You are right in everything you said...I started wondering if I was crazy but then I saw Bill Gates on social Mefia saying he and his crinimal friends was going to Blick the sun so they could make it very cold for all of us...
      No doubt at all that this is weather manipulation in the worst degree, and I believe next will be destruction ice storms.
      They have caused such extreme destruction all over the world with severe storms of all kinds and these storms are constant, that is not normal...
      Now Gates is processing food made from crickets and rest assured there will be horriable things in said food...
      We are being contaminated in everything...

      I went from all season to all weather... The all seasons I could not make it up a ramp to my parking area, and with all weather I had no problem. It's a tough decision for people who don't have a lot of money to justify another set of tires for like a week or two of maybe having significant snow. No doubt summer and all season tires don't have a chance, especially when it comes to steep grades.

Because this is abnormal for Vancouver, no individual can say in the millennium history of the land and geographical location that this type of occurrence has never taken place. Because it has not happened in Vancouvers lifetime is no indication it should not happen at all.
