    The house is in the centre of the village of Plaisance, and has 2 bedrooms, 2 barns and a garden it has been renovated to a very high standard; but still has kept many of its original features.
    The second barn was a recent purchase, and the owners were in the process of obtaining planning permission to turn it into a private courtyard at the back of the property; they have done most of the groundwork/negotiations with the mairie, and architect du Poitiers; who favoured their plans, but; due to work commitments; they now have to leave the village to live nearer to Bordeaux.
    Plaisance itself has a Mairie, with a post office and library, it also has a very popular fishing lake. The village is in-between the two main rivers of the Gartempe and Vienne which are surrounded by many tourist attractions including Futuroscope, Civaux, Dienne, and the CPA at Lathus (only 10 minutes away) which has water sport facilities (international events are held there) as well as an equestrian centre; making this an ideal holiday base, with plenty to do almost on your doorstep; if you are that way inclined!
    The village is not far from the town of Montmorillon (11kms) which as well as having an amazingly popular tourist attraction in the Cité de l’Écrit has shops, bars, and all other amenities needed for everyday living. There is a train station in Montmorillon with trains to Poitiers and Limoges.
    Poitiers train station also has cross platform TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux and other French cities plus Brussels and London (via Lille).
    Poitiers and Limoges Airports are both around 1 hours’ drive, both having a great variety of flights into the UK and other European destinations.
    The property itself rests in the centre of the village, with one barn behind the house and the other barn and outbuilding just across the road; the private garden is attached to these. These two buildings attached to the garden could be converted into further living accommodation after acquiring the relevant planning permissions.
    The house benefits from mains electricity, water and drainage, is fully double glazed. Heating is wood fired central heating with antique style radiators. Broadband is available.
    The property is immaculate and really must be seen to be appreciated.

    Hello Cathe. please do not take this as a negative comment from me. I really do appreciate the hard work that you put into showing the viewer this property, but there is a slight bit of a problem with the video being to blurry . On the positive side, looking at the slides you produce, and the information you add, the house looks really nice, and the asking price is very good.

      Hello Philip and Diane, thank you for your feedback and honest appraisal, I will look at how the videos are done and see if I can deal with that issue. I am new to videos, so it is a big learning curve and I appreciate your comments. Thank you again. The house is beautiful and the owners are just about to reduce it to 77 400 and are still open to offers, so I am hoping it's new owner is found soon. Cathe

      Hello Cathe, thank you for the reply. I'm sure you will pick the issue up regarding the video quality, we all learn something new everyday, know one is perfect, people progress better the more they practice, so no worries there. I think the house will sell soon, it does look beautiful, with such a good price. It really is a shame that my wife and I are unable to move to France for a few more year., Due to Brexit we do worry about getting the visa. With so many hoops to jump through, and lots of paperwork required it really looks scary. To be honest the question we would like to know is can we qualify for a visa before selling our Uk home, as we don't want to be homeless, we have no other family here, or in France. So it's a very frustrating situation to be at. We will both be at retirement age in four years time, and really would love to live in France with our two cats. We know It is a big commitment to make in our life and hope our dream will become a reality. We shall continue to watch the property videos you make with great interest.
