You can find property for a reasonable price in a small town and still have some access to public transportation which helps to insulate the town from totally disappearing . Yep, I totally agree. Plus as an expat it’s possible to live without a car. Maybe just an eBike. The smallest property looks like the best location to me. Montmorillon appears to be a great town!
