- A celebration of the 54th anniversary of the release of Let It Be by showing my copies of the album, as well as some of the source material that has been released on bootlegs over the years ..
Note : Instant Karma produced by Phil Spector, was recorded in JANUARY 1970 , not Jan. ‘69 .. leading John and Heorge to ask him to step I. And take a look at the tapes … thanks , @cranberrysauce9275 , for picking up on the error ..

Nice video and good thoughtful observations on Long and Winding Road. You might want to add text that Instant Karma was recorded in january "1970" (not 1969, I know how easy it is to make a mistake when recording a video). Keep 'em coming!

I just watched this video for a second time. I didn’t know there was a white colored vinyl copy. It is lovely. Does it sound pretty nice?
For this video, I mainly prepared by listening critically to the first UK issue , the ‘78 Red Apple label US reissue , and the 2021 Giles Martin Reissue .. hadn’t listened to the white vinyl 78 reissue in a while, although I had read positive things about its sound quality .. re-listening to it tonight , the improvement is only a tiny increment above earlier issues and probably very subjective ; Let It Be , by design, was not meant to be a sonic masterpiece, but it’s not till you move to the Giles Martin version that you hear an immediately noticeable improvement in sound - Giles did not mess with the Spector production we are used to, only made it sound clearer and better .. ( although I cannot deny the satisfaction I get out of having a unique, white vinyl version .. that’s just the way us collectors are .. 😜)
.. the 2021 Giles Martin reissue will become my, ‘go-to’ version from now on ..👍

Interesting .. I listened intently , worried that the the ‘parody’ would be of the mocking kind , but those alternate tribute lyrics certainly harken back to the religious vibe of the original .. 👍
