Oh boy - I think many of us are working on flexibility. :) I’ll never forget this - I started a little habit. If a missionary visits our church, I ask the wife if she can share one little piece of advice or a lesson she has learned that might be helpful. I feel bad because I catch people off guard, but I’ve gotten some neat tidbits! One mom of 5 said she has learned to be flexible! Just go with the flow. Prepare and plan your best, but don’t freak out if things change. :) I bought myself a little wood sign and keep it in my room as a reminder to guard against my fleshly tendency, “As long as everything is exactly the way I want, I’m totally flexible.”

This was one of my favorite podcasts of yours so far! Thank you for this episode. I would love to listen to more interviews of other moms in similar seasons of life! 🙏🏼

While your raising kids time feels slowed down to a trickle... but it goes fast ...and you technically have them only for 18 years and that's getting them ready as they grow for their seasons. . Take a day every few weeks to get out of house to shop, get your hair done, just go grab a tea or coffee ... you need a lil quiet time .. Husbands even working outside of the the home forget to give mommy a few hours...
Taking a lil mommy time gives you that 110% for others. If your tank is empty and you don't have great self care you can't give it away if it's not their. So 2 weeks ,3 weeks take a few hours and set the day to look forward to good luck.. 👍 and God bless

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow! I was so excited to see this notification because I actually found this podcast from Sarah showing your music academy on her Instagram!
But ladies! I JUST had this conversation with my husband today about so many of the marital things you mentioned. It was so healing and exciting to move forward in this direction, and your words were the confirmation of this being what God wants for us. Thank you for your candor in a contrary world! ❤
