Wave 4's Fell Xenologue offers many rewards. 2 New Classes (Cannoneer & Enchanter) and 5 playable units, one of which being amazingly powerful. It also has 3 difficulty, set units & items. Because of this, Intelligence Systems is able to finetune the Xenologue to offer a truly Maddening challenge for us Masochist. If you're looking to clear this DLC on the hardest difficulty, I have 6 Tricks & Tips that'll help you SURVIVE this hellhole.

It’s hard when you want to bring specific units for unique dialogues.

I enjoyed the Fell Xenologue, my only complaint was that if someway the update would allow you adjust the worldly skirmish levels. I’m at post game and training the new units is a challenge
Indeed, but at least in the Divine Paralogue area, the low-level Skirmishes we are looking for may appear from time to time.
And entering the arena after every battle for the sake of said units can also contribute quite a lot over time.
Ayo, and a real useful tip for raising neglected units: Give them, for the sake of the Divine One, Tiki's Starsphere skill. It helps so much, even enables units like Hortensia to raise the Build stat, which normally has a 0% chance on her (with her unique class).

I 100% feel that m8, but here's something that'll help.
Using engage+ helps out with the farming a ton. Just upgrade your alear engage weapons and they'll still do massive damage at low levels.
upgraded alear weapons:
hit lv.4 has a base 105 hit + 46 (30 from passive, 8 from bond 20, 8[10] from attuned) for 151 hit.
oligoludia (anticorrupted) ends with 14mt at atk lv.4, which effective triples to 42 and can deal some damage at 0str vs most capped enemies.
Can also dex & spd augment for +3 on either (+6 hit or helps double)
Slap on starsphere/lineage to speed up the process, and stand near your byleth user with mentor for more exp (i hope this stacks).
**Tip chapter 5. You can cheese if you give Nel tiki.
Honestly I'm kinda struggling with the 2nd Xenolouge. So this video is a big help.
for xenologue 3 you can cheese it by using the cannons to refill the emblem rings, so you can use the emblem rings freely to clear reinforcements and just slowly reaccumulate emblem charge with the cannons, and for xenologue 6 if set up correctly, you can abuse reprisal from veronica to one round the boss on maddening with rallies support bonuses, dances, contracts, etc, this strategy is good with either roy or edelgard due to holdout, houses unite, and atrocity.
I like that this xenologue was first one I done but I wished they fix it so that if you do it early part of the game it won’t make skirmishes right off the back
What’s left for me now is the final chapter, but I gotta go to work first.
I'm stuck on ch5 hard, that map is super unfair ☠️
Honestly, I made tank Nil. His def growths are great, and slapping Hector on him and not changing his base class gets him to 45 atk/def. His axe crit rate is crazy too-
I think the last chapter is BS. It punishes you for doing what you are meant to do. Did you stand on the tiles to stop the summonings? Too bad, now you can't scape the platform in time. Timerra's platform is awful. Nil will just go to the platform and immediatly start summons enemies, if You dare to stay to stop the summoning the path to the next platfor is so long that you won't make it in time. So you are punished for actually doing what the tutorial tells you to do.
If you don't have the DLC bracelets or all the rings + skills in are your units and their bonds at 20 you will be in a huge disadvantage. So there is no way to complete it in maddening unless you are almost at the end of the game. I think the best way to experience the Xenologue is in hard. In maddening the ch.5 and 6 are just not fun.
sid you beat it on maddening? if so, how long did it take you to beat the fell xenologue on maddening?

My only troublesome point is when i hit xenologue 5 as I haven't beat the game yet so i only had the bracelets(now that i think about it i should have finished the story first x.x as nel keeps dying within 3-5turns with the units being so far away from nil and nell
I can't beat this DLC. I try so hard but i'm stuck on the final boss and don't know how to proceed
Xenologue part 3 is a pain in the ass because my nil and nel died so easily
Maddening mode was horribly difficult. And not the fun kind. I required a lot of luck to win. But I did kind of like the story and the creativity of the maps.
Chapter 5 is bullshit, and I did a double take when Holy Stance activated on chapter 2.
I love the base game, I absolutely hate the xenologue (gameplaywise anyway, ironically i think the story is better here than in the main game). It removes everything that makes the base game great, namely, the choice of how you want to play, no items, no class choices (thanks game for turning my sage anna into a warrior), maybe part of the reason I didn't like it was because I did it early, but even if I had done it later, player choice would still be completely shot. I just beat it on normal and moved on with my life.
