What kills me watching all these reactions is that Maria Franz has been around for at least ten years. Just proves to me that the truly talented don't get the recognition while the hacks and posers become mega-stars. She has so much talent it takes three bands to express it. And her voice blows away just about anyone on today's music scene. And yes, she's quite gorgeous too - that may be one reason for the costume, to conceal it.
OOn this occasion, the members of the group provide us with invaluable information about the song and its lyrics. The lyrics for this piece are mainly taken from bracteates: golden, circular coins or amulets found in Northern Europe that date from the 4th to 7th centuries CE. They are often fitted with a decorated rim and loop, which indicates that they were meant to be worn and perhaps provide protection, fulfil wishes or for divination. The bracteates feature a very significant iconography influenced by Roman coinage. They were predominantly made from Roman gold, which was given to the North Germanic peoples as peace money. In Anoana, the listener has the chance to delve into a collection of likely encoded spells from the Migration Period and get a touch of magic from the Dark Ages. The intention of the piece is to playfully reconnect to an incantational language of a period where the North was richer in gold than any other region. Our forefathers presumably enjoyed a time of great prosperity and it may make us rethink how dark these ages real. Bro this is such a powerful song, Magick in a way, I vibe with this hard, makes me want to look deeper, I respect you major status for looking into this.

I listened to this with my parakeet and my dog. My parakeet is now a Falcon and my dog is now a direwolf. The final scene of the video to me is what packs the most emotion to me. If I had to guess what's happening it's her accepting her destiny and rushing towards it with no regard to the obstacles in her path. She will become the bison.
I was looking for your reaction to In Madijan, but then I heard you say it was blocked. I hope you react to the entire LIFA performance, even if it's on your own time. It's SO WORTH IT. TRUST ME.
There's a part of the video that stood out to me and if anyone can help me out confirming or denying my initial though it be great, there's the section where Maria is at the beach and she makes a sound like a deer call, then, adult Anoana also makes the same or a very similar sound, it means they were calling each other? Heilung family, please, help!
I love watching ppl from different cultures and walks of life react to whar i consider my heritage. And i thank you for this vid. Since christianity "stole/erased" most of the indoeuropean/protogermanic/norse cultural heritage, i find pieces of it in the reaction of others. Wierd right? Anyway, thanks.
Can you do a reaction to Eluveitie, Aidus? They are an amazing Swiss metal band that incorporates folk instruments with metal instruments. If you do a reaction, I'll tell you more about them!
Remember, that we all are brothers
All people
And beasts and trees
And stone and wind
We all descend from the one great being
That was always there
Before people lived and named it
Before the first seed sprouted
Quote from Heilung
Heilung touches something DEEP inside of us. It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from. It's PRIMORDIAL. 😘
Remember that we all are brothers
All people, beasts, tree and stone and wind
We all descend from the one great being
That was always there
Before people lived and named it
Before the first seed sprouted

@@mighty_themultitasker If you love metal and you love Heilung, you'll love it!
Please pronounce it correctly: Heilung = High-Loong. It's german for healing. `EI' sounds are a long I.
Ohh!! My apologies there.
