Was a little nervous using such a large and fairly expensive swimbait. But we were able to make a successful episode....What is your most expensive swimbait you've used? How big of a fish did you land oin it? CHECK THIS EPISODE OUT -----> ua-cam.com/video/XGJtFTWVyV0/v-deo.html
I'm going to comment on this before even watching the video and say yes, it's worth every penny and is actually cheap in the world of swimbaits. I caught a 4 lber last week on this bait.
Try twitching that vatalion a couple times and letting it rise, then reel a few feet and do it again. I get more bites on the Vatalion after a pause and then twitching it. It also works great for bed fishing, twitching it right over the bed, and let it rise. They drill it!
@@henrycoleman5715 Yeah man, thats a great bait. I have no doubt you'll enjoy the heck out of it. Something about how that Vatalion moves irradically and then rises to the surface just like a panfish does when you watch them. Good Luck, Tight lines!
I know it's a $40 lure, but I think you were fishing the lure too fast. If you're afraid of losing it to a snag you should buy a lure knocker, it saves me a ton of lures and a ton of $$$$$ as well!
Hahahaha!!! I started out throwing Swimbaits the same way! I'll never pay 50 bucks on a bait!! Now after 5 years of throwing them, I have a few very expensive baits. I'll tell you 3 baits that are at a reasonable price point. Spro 50 rat hands down, a must have bait. Also the MS Slammer 2 piece 7inch, and the Huddleston 68. The slammer is 10bucks more that the Vatallion and worth every penny. Also all these baits are light enough to get away with a flipping stick. Good luck with that Vitallion. I'm going to definitely pick one up. Very unique.

No such thing as too fast with the vatallion! Just broke my pb at 6.26 pounds straight up BURNING this exact lure
Nice Dan! Most expensive are the “real Whopper Ploppers” at $12 apiece! I do everything not to lose those.
