There's 9 members in Slipknot. A vocalist, two guitarists, one bass guitarist, a DJ, a sampler/keyboardist, two custom percussionists, and a drummer. Yes they do wear the masks all the time, but they change with each album cycle. And I don't know how old you are but I bet the oldest member is as old as you.

so glad i found this. they’ve been one of my favorite bands since 99… they’ve been around for a long time so a good chunk of their fans are in their 40s-50s. hell, i’m 46 and took my 17-year-old nephew to knotfest roadshow in 2019 and he loved it 😁
If you like this era of their masks, you're going to absolutely love the older masks. Such as their albums "Iowa", "All Hope is Gone" and Corey's (the lead singer) newest mask!
Aw man, when he was reminsicing on KISS, I'm 24 and I saw their final performance in Chicago in 2019...amazing performance and then saw Slipknot a few months after right outside Chicago. Two amazing groups with incredible shows

They have so many songs worth checking out. Duality, Psychosocial, Devil and I, Before I Forget.... I could go on but I'll stop myself lol. I'd suggest Snuff because it's an awesome song but Snuff is a slower, softer song and I'm not sure if that's your thing. And yes, they always wear masks.
The guy with the "glass throat" is the guy doing the smooth vocals too. That's how fuckin great he is.

I discovered slipknot last year with Duality and Unsainted (good example of Corey's clear and guturral voice). Since then, I have been completely crazy about the energy of this band.
The first two albums are not easy for me to listen to but hey, I'm a new fan and I'm not very young anymore!
My favorite is Solway firth. If you like the drum, it could be fun in your sports car!

Slipknot was formed in the 90's their first 3 albums are my favorite, they were more raw, especially their first album. I recommend sic, scissors, purity, spit it out, and all of Iowa album.
