- The very first multi-lap Spectator Drag shootout at Seekonk Speedway!!! Groups of 4-5 cars battle it out in a 5 lap race around the track. One driver moves on. The winner from each round competes in the finale. Some wild racing from some of your favorite drivers at Seekonk Speedway running side by side in this new Spectator Drag event!! Part of the Monster Truck Show on 8/8/21. Huge thanks to the track, Mark from Preferred Towing who helped organize the event, & the 14 drivers who put it all on the track! Hope you guys enjoy- TBERG

I always thought 2 lap races for (normal) spectator drags would be much better than 1, this is just amazing!
Whoever is managing Spectators is doing it right. Finally some new innovation. Love it.
We’re lucky ! Mark from preferred towing helped organize this one. Initially it was gonna be a 10 lap race with all drivers but was broken down into a much better organized event !

It would be even better if they made the AWD drivers choose which axle they want the power going to and make them disconnect the other one.
Not a new idea but needs to be done right.like this

This was awesome! Much better than two car single lap races.
I admit I was blown away. I commented a few times for more laps but thought I was never going to see it. Man was I wrong and I am do happy that I was wrong. This is a whole new level of pushing driver and street machine. Love it love it love it. Thank you so very much. I was on the edge of my seat for every race.
This was fun! Hopefully they make this a regular thing. Really enjoyed it.

Yes. All forms of racing should try to innovate. Racing needs this to regain the attention of current/new fans.
And the giant balls these guys, the saves were amazing, 3 wide into/out of the turns, etc.
I have said this before, this tracks spectator races are better than most tracks weekly show.

Man these drags are AWESOME..the Seekonk ones are the best.
I've seen enough of these to know that Kenny Klein (in the red DSM) also has an absurdly stupid fast white EVO as well, he wins every single event he enters with it, it's not even close lmao

Really great entertainment, more so than usual. I think the single lap races are quite exciting, but this is the ultimate. Hope to see more of this. Thanks for all your time and effort.
Nice format! Much better than the 1 lap races that 99% of the time the car thats starts inside takes it.

I'd watch this shit over NAPCAR any day. This is awesome 😆 The true "Race on Sunday, drive to work on Monday" That lil Eclipse is a beast on the hole shot. Gotta give credit where credits due, that thing flies around that track. Ol' boy in the White Z28 was givin it hell tryin to get around him but just couldnt come out of the corner like the lil red rocket (🤣) Damned good, clean racin folks, keep doin it and I'll keep watchin!!

Ive been subscribed for around 3 years or so now, gotta say this is one of the best period, some of my favorite cars and racers lined up, i thought brad was goin to pull it off, he was drivin her harder than usual days of thunder style to get around that eclipse. Glad the trans am and the old ford truck i always root for came out alright, wild how they both spun out at the exact same time. This was incredible, best yet, very entertaining and cant believe more people arent doing this yet. We needed that old datsun in this lineup badly, hope he gets it fixed and rolls back in. The question were left with is who is there now that can beat that little boosted eclipse? Only time will tell.

6:37 was the strangest occurrence
Maybe the firebird that was smoking badly before this race oiled down the track a bit.
I think the firebird checked up to keep from hitting the truck causing him to spin also, too bad ruined his race but glad he saved the car.

I was told they had to cap the event due to time constraints, there will be more planning in the future for more !

This is what I need
I’m not playing the sympathy card, but I’ve had two spine surgeries and I’m getting ready for a third. However, I’m not crying about it, because I know that a lot of people are in worse condition than I am. Getting out to these races isn’t an option for me, and many other people, anymore. I really want to extend my sincerest gratitude to you, for filming these races. They’re fun to watch and take my mind off of the pain. I try keep my disability hidden (as much as I can), but I just want you to know how much this benefits those of us who can’t see the races in person. Seriously…. Thank you! 😃

These multi laps are fun to watch. Someone's car is bound to get f'ed up soon with this many laps and 5 street cars fighting for position. I'd hate to see some of the nicer cars get banged up but it is entertaining to watch the battles for sure.

Raymond, I agree on that one. A Chimpanzee could drive an awd car and win. It’s actually boring to watch them. Good thing we still have mostly RWD cars competing.

There is no replacement for 4 cylinder AWD JDM.The only of 14 v8 American muscle cars and wins overall. Hard to argue against that!

If that Talon or Eclipse driver took a lesson or two he’d be a lot faster. Brakes way too hard, sometimes almost to a stop it seems. It’s working but time to up the skills. Excellent show. If Cleetus did this it would turn into a smashed race as they all do. Having him and his buddies race against novices is no fun either. Not that they’re pro but much more lap time than Joe blow off the streets.
Due to insurance regulations... I have to go slow. My last car was too fast and they changed the rules for me. Thanks fir the advice though. I’ll apply it to my 6th year of domination

AWD racers remind me of those little kids at the skating rink hanging onto those trainer bars with their white knuckles. Too chicken to let go of that extra axle because they lack the skill and confidence.
@@MrAnonymous264 AWD? Then you really shouldn't be braking at all. If anything just ease off a little or get off the gas and coast into the corner before getting back on it.
Sometimes in racing, you can put a slow racer in a fast and they'll lose as well as put a good driver in a slower car and they can win. Thus why the other AWD cars don't win.
Giving you a little constructive instruction in cornering. Don't blame the insurance company. There's 1000 HP cars on the city streets.
Just ease up or coast into the corners and you'll be faster for it.
