It's an amazing song and an amazing reaction.... however.... raid shadow legends is a terrible game and nobody should spend their valuable time playing it. But you gotta .ake money so I don't fault you on it.

This is the tone the song should have always had.
He was young and that was how he could handle that chaos IMO. He is now older and can deal better.

That's a punk thing though, you take serious, deep, and sometimes depressing topics and put it into an upbeat/aggressive vibe. But yeah, this version of the song definitely hits much harder, and conveys a shit ton of emotion.
It's still a thing, just look at mainstream pop lyrics. Half the shit is depressing as fuck. 🤣

I have no words. The lyrics in this have always hit hard. Hearing the song in this form really shows how powerful music lyrics can be. Absolutely amazing
It's the way he puts emphasis on certain words and you can feel the pain in his voice. And the progression of pain and anger from start to end is huge. I love this one way more. Ronnie is just an amazing artist and just insanely humble and loves his fans like he said in drugs.
The two versions are like ying and yang coming full circle after a decade. This is a god damn masterpiece and trust me I don't say that lightly.
The original one looks and sounds like a teen love full of adventures and naivety. This version is a grown up love full of drama , pure emotions and serious stuff. I think this contrast shows that we have matured and the original song is a moment of nostalgia. Both are amazing. I hope my idea is clear. Cheers and peace!!!

I've followed all of Ronnie's music since he was in Escape the fate and the song "Not good enough for truth in cliche" had just been released, and I just checked.. It's like 13 years ago that video came out!
It doesn't feel that long ago at all, but I agree, he's aged well, and his music has only became better and better in my opinion, and he's said he'll keep this up until he's 70, so I can't wait to see what other great music he'll throw our way in the future. I'll keep listening, because his music has never disappointed me.
Even a few songs that I've been a little hesitant towards at first, once I've listened through them a few times and gotten more immersed in the lyrics then I've always came to love them too~

as someone who had never heard the original prior to the reimagined version I can say that it hit me just as hard if not harder. I was in tears when I watched the MV and heard the song for the first time. It just resonates on such a level that you can't help but be sucked into the song and lyrics. I hit a place in me that I wasn't prepared for. Very cathartic.

My wife has been teaching this to professional artists since the advent of MySpace a long, long, time ago. And it absolutely is how anyone with any platform should be operating to have something called..longevity.

The beginning reminds me of Brendon Urie with that calm and angelic style of singing then when the break hits he displays his emotions thru pain & anger which I have never have seen before besides two other singers pulling it off, that being Chester Bennington & Kurt Cobain!
