One does not just listen to Ronnie's music. Like you said, it's a journey. An experience. I can't really listen to other music anymore because I can't *feel* it. FIR is in constant rotation here. Please definitely do as many FIR songs as you're willing and able to do. We'll be here for it.

Good lord do I understand what you mean by "I can't really listen to other music anymore because I can't feel it". There's few other bands that give me the same feeling of imersion and release of emotion. Well said
Yes to the "live" performance, please. I would recommend "Watch The World Burn". He does a lot of rapping in this song, but he's astounding. Plus there is a section you will love (I guarantee it).😊 The thing about their live shows is how they work together flawlessly. It's nice to know that it's real talent, not an edited video.
You talk about him having voice or piano lessons. I don't think they offer that in prison.
When he was young h
e brought brass knuckles to a fight that went wrong. His friend had brought a gun to the fight, as well as their opponent. The opponent died. His friend got off with self defense. Ronnie pled guilty for the brass knuckles, and ended up with 2 1/2 years in prison. Not fair to me, but Ronnie said it's the best thing that could've happened. He gained sobriety and started getting a band together (Falling In Reverse), so he hit the ground running when he got out. He has kept his sobriety through everything.
He's is a person like everyone else. He's funny and so smart and insightful. He claims to be an ass...e, and I've seen it, but the other person comes at him first. I've never seen an instance where he was the aggressor but he can take you down with words if provoked.
I think you should find out more about this man. I can't type it all here, but it will be eye-opening.
I wonder if he is a savant. His dad is a biker and his mother is the epitome of an absent parent. I don't think he had much help with lessons if he had them. However, he's 40ish now, so maybe he has taken lessons himself.
Oh, I almost forgot, this song was written in prison.

@@voxsingingacademy I know I’m late to the party but Ronnie says he didn’t receive any training or structured teaching growing up. Maybe that’s changed but I think a lot of it comes first from mimicking, sort of like Karaoke, and then forming your own sound.
Lessons help, but as with lessons, 95% of what you learn is going to come from your practice of what surrounds those lessons.

You are the first person to recognize that his normal voice is so powerful, and can sounds classical. You saw this attributes immediately.
I actually think that it is a shame that no one really recognize this earlier in his life, as he very easily could have trained to sing like rock operas. His voice is such a treasure!
I'm glad you saw this talent in him. Yes, prior to this song I'm positive that he had classical lessons as he needed a tremendous amount of control to sing this song.

One of my favorite singers for the reasons you pointed out. He can do almost anything with his voice... and done well. vibrato, falsetto, growling/screaming, in and out of techniques, range... He even raps better than most.
Not only that, but he has a way of bringing out that emotion.
Alot of people have already mentioned it but if you like this then you'll love the song I'm not A Vampire Revamped by them, really enjoyed your take and cant wait to see more ^-^
The ending to this song is so awesome I love it sounds so amazing throughout and the endnis just crazy as hell
Ronnie Radke is one of my top 3 favorite artists and I love this song.
Ronnie is crazy talented. Besides his awesome singing, he is a good rapper, plays piano, guitar and drums, writes all his music, records parts of it, makes all decisions for the band (videos, Outfits, ... you name it), etc. He's constantly working on himself and kind of a perfectionist, I guess.
Considering that he grew up without a mother, a drug addicted father, was addicted to hard drugs as well until he went to prison in his early 20s, it's even more amazing how he got to where he is now.
I'd love to see you do more reactions to Falling in Reverse/Ronnie Radke.

From what I have read about these lyrics, imagine sitting in prison, sobering up from addiction, looking in the mirror, and writing this song. The original in 2011 is poppy and kind of emo and fun, but with these dark lyrics. The reimagined version is so different the meaning of the whole song seems to change. Great reaction :)

I saw it mentioned in another comment but I would love to see your reaction his Last Resort reimagined, it's incredible.
The fact that you know the specifics of Post-Hardcore screaming... I'm blown away. I know that might seem dumb, but that is... wow. If I were to play 3 bands from different genres with screaming, pretty much 99% of people I know would say "oh, that's 'screamo."
Metalcore vs Post-Hardcore vs say, Deathcore all have very different sounds to their screams. On top of that, No one knows that a lot of bands people label as emo/screamo are actually Post-hardcore...

That exhale you did at the end, was basically all of us. When listening to these masterpieces your entire world stops for a few minutes and you simply get lost. I would have to imagine that being this good, he's got to be hell to work with haha..
If you haven't heard any of Dan Vasc's music, you might want to start with "Burn Witcher Burn". He has a massive fan base and a catalog of over 200 songs.

You have to go back to watch the original “the drug in me” to really appreciate how much Ronnie has developed and then what “I’m not a Vampire” & “”I’m not a Vampire Revamped”
His older music, although different , really shows his music range.
His music draws you in because it is mesmerizing. What ever style he chooses to sing comes very natural to him.
He is a true artist and doesn’t get the credit that he deserves from the music industry, however, he has a loyal fan base

Been listening to this guy since about 2008/2009 and he’s grown so much as a singer. His inherent talent is obvious but you should check out “Not Good Enough for the Truth in Cliche” by Escape the Fate 🤟 early Ronnie Radke is still vocally amazing.

Not only are there several decent quality recordings but it’s even a little funny because this was a reimagining of a very old song the band did, and THAT song was more post hardcore / glam rock, so the timing in this version is way different, which often throws the crowd for a loop when they try to sing along lol

Saw them a couple months ago when they were touring with Papa Roach and Hollywood Undead. They were amazing live! As I think others have mentioned, they do not sing the reimagined versions in concert.
The first time I saw this it was difficult to pay attention to the music because the video was so captivating.

From what I have heard it depends on when you hit them during their tour since they make a lot of stops on their tours and his voice obviously gets tired, but he is suppose to be a damn good live singer
Loved the reaction! Yea it's not hard to appreciate Ronnie' s vocal range and talent in this one but can't wait til you do I'm Not a Vampire Revamped.
You mentioned a few times that his voice sometimes has a classical style to it, so i'm going to recommend that you react to "I'm not a vampire revamped," I believe it's even more present in that song. Aside from that though, it's an incredible piece of music, it's not something you would just jam to on the radio or in the car, it's something you need to watch and experience to fully appreciate. It's incredibly theatrical, he showcases so many different masterful singing techniques, and I think you would love it. Please do yourself a favor and check it out!

You should listen to his trilogy that ends with his song “Drugs,” also you have to react to Zombified. He is one of the best singers in the world probably.
Great reaction. It's time to go down the Falling in Reverse rabbit hole. Definitely react to I'm not a Vampire and I'm not a Vampire Revamped, it's a 10 year difference between the two songs which share the same lyrics but the music and video have been revamped. The video of the Revamped version is so epic, movie like quality and IMO blows this one away. Then you need to react to following songs which show more vocal versatility and the songs are...Popular Monster and The Trilogy videos...Losing My Life, Losing My Mind and Drugs. Then finally his latest masterpiece Zombified.
