Man today has been a big day. Today I've used all of your guides- I managed to solo each of the Dagannoth Kings, and every GWD General and it's thanks to you and your guides. Didn't think I'd reach this point, back in the day I never really pushed outside my comfort zone, never even tried facing off against these bosses. But now I'm on the board, Fremennik diary crossed off. Thanks again man!!!
There are a few key things you should change in my opinion about this guide. Dragon defender is much better than crystal shield here, as well as the boss drains % of prayer points left with his special attack so you shouldn't drink 3 restores to fill prayer back up when you go in, its best to keep your prayer points lower while you're in there if you want to use less supplies. You can also bring an ancient staff which will allow you to auto cast, and since they changed it (after this video was made), it will remember your auto cast if you switch between your ancients staff and the arc light. Making it a little easier to kill the minions. Also, the arc light spec works as well so i would ditch the bgs and spend that money elsewhere on your gear if possible.
Me: ok, I am ready! "Eats anglerfish, drinks supercombat potion and activates bandos spec, enters the fortress after forgetting to restore prayer, boss hits me 60+ and minions 20+ and dies". That was my DOA story at this boss.
More of an advanced tip, but Kril's special that hits through melee prayer also drains prayer based on current points, so going in with 1 dose, maybe 2 at most will be ideal. Filling prayer points right up will ultimately waste more doses. Camping 20-40 is ideal :)

Just something I'd like to add. When u get to the zammy area and even in the boss fight, it is fairly dark. If you'd like to make it bright again. You can go to ge and buy a saradomin light. You can then use it and it'll be consumed however the light will permanently be bright.

Tip for kc, get sara+ zammy item and do the kc right by the rope. There are bloodvelds, werewolfs, imps, icefiends etc, all under attack so you just gotta dmg them once. Alternatively kill imps inside zammy room whilst hopping after 4 kills, dont wait on spawns.

Then I changed the setup slightly and begin getting kc near rope east of it. I am focusing on killing ice fiends and imps. Is it really enough if I just damage bloodveld or werewolfs once and then leave them alone? Do I get killcount for just hitting once?

I just did an ironman fcape without using any food only using a rcb with broad bolts. Was nearly naked the entire cave. Just open the wiki, find the rotation you have, and pre-plan where you're going to start each wave to minimize tanking both rangers and magers. Also i took a rune kite, and excalibur that i used to gain some extra tankiness for rounds when i would need to tank the ranger. For food use baskets of strawberrys and if you have 84 hp you'll get 30hp heal from a full basket.
you can do Jad easy without brews. after a solid 5~6 years i tried it again on my ironman. i had him almost but i fucked up with the prayer flicking. you can always bring around 40 diamond bolts (E) to save them for Jad at the end. thats why i did. bring a god book if fighting solo. but if u pray mage and need to tank the ranger equip a crystal / granite shield to save some food for later if you would mess up or end up tanking the healers

i think you do a great job of providing information, however i must say that there is a common trend with your guides that deters me from clicking on them, and that is order of information. Everything i need to know is provided but in a very awkward order that makes me have to go ahead into the guide and then come back etc. Now obviously i know how to get to godwars dungeon but im just saying in general. It doesnt make sense to me why gear and inventory isn't the first inforrmation provided. Like, why show me how to get there, and then go over gear. im not going to go to the boss naked, and then get my gear??? idk, just a recommendation. a good guide should cover information in the order it will be needed. other than that great guide.
Could you add some extra tips and trips at the end. Tips I have heard are to flick the minions. Which minions to we prioritise mage and range? People also talk about flicking a defender. Do you try to flick each hit or only flick the defender on once as you go for the two hits and shield when under? Also why do you take the Verac’s skirt instead of the Karil’s skirt? I am just starting out and have had a 3 kill trip and want to start pushing up to consistently getting above 3.
Why wear Veracs skirt? Shouldn’t I want to increase my mage defense so the minion doesn’t hit me as much? I’m trying to decide between torags legs or black dhide legs (ironman)
You’ll want to have an ecumenical key. That way you can bypass the KC and just walk right in. Tbh tho. KC doesn’t take that long. If I die I just get KC to get my stuff. Better to use keys for Sara and Arma.
Is this runelite or osbuddy, you see youre name under the health bar of kril in the opponent interface, i need it for saradomin trios but cant find the option in runelite..
I just did this boss, for diary's, my question is, when the boss died, and its minions, I did not get a messages, 1 out of 4 elite task done, for fremenik elite. is that normal?
There are some actions (like burying a bone) that keep the game from being able to "locate" you on the tick that you would get that message. I had the same thing happen at Dagganoth Kings but completed the diary step regardless of seeing a notification.
Another meele pray guide? It is way better to protect from magic while maximizing your meele defence if you solo, because Krill won't use his special and his normal meele attacks are fairly inaccurate. You get an average of 2 kills more per trip.
@@BKBK-yo1zz it's not, the boss hits through your meele pray with special when praying meele and it's easier to stack armor than it is to get high magic defence. Not to mention that it is superior with the minions. I got plenty of solo kills on my ironman and tried all kinds of set ups and stacking armor + mage pray is the best way to solo this boss. He also doesn't use his special so you don't have to worry about your pray points, but that's only a small bonus ;)
75 att/def 92 str/hp 105cb Impossible to kill with my stats. Tried to keep my hp above 70 but got combo'd out before I did even 1/4 damage. Used exact same gear and technique. Protection prayers barely did a thing. Edit: I did it with full karils, dfs + arclight. Make sure the npc attack settings are on right click.
You are wasting prayer points by keeping your prayer that high. Kril drains half of your current prayer points when he does his special attack. I didnt see this mentioned.
Same exact gear but higher. I couldn't even get a single kill because I'd get fucking hit so damn much. Stepped on him, healed, hit 2 times, stepped on him, healed, hit 2 times, etc. And each time I'd get fucking demolished. So fucking trash at pvm I don't get it. my stats were up, made sure of it.
do not bother with this boss solo unless you're an ironman. it's hardly worth it since you take such devastating damage that you can only squeeze a couple of kills in. if you're interested in this boss bring a team
I like this video but I heavily disagree with the stats requirements. Those stats can be useful if you want more than 5 kills a trip otherwise having 75 in ATK DEF and STR is more than sufficient. Rn my Cb is currently 85's and I'm at 50kc on Kril. Beginning the grind for the pet

I wouldn’t say you have to have it but it will help significantly. If you have the patience to only get 2 or 3 kills a trip don’t worry about it. But if you want more than that, I’d consider getting 92 before you go.
Arma is the 2nd easyest to solo after sara. For arma you realy just sit there and range and eat when hp runns low. My sara trips gets me 3-5kills while i get 3-4 at arma and my first zammy attempt only gave me 2 all tho i could have pushed for a 3rd. I hate bandos so i never even tryed to solo him. I range everything and uses mid lev gear, blessed d hide and maby 1-2 peaces of veracs for extra def
That gear is awful you want to have highest attack and strength bonus so you can kill kril as fast as possible becuase you take the most damage when he is alive. Then you heal off the minions. Defender is better and also karil top and bottom will stop the mage minion destroying you. As for the fury I have found it a little better then torture for the minions
It heals more (also more consistently gets you to full hp as Guthan's relies on RNG procs), blood barrage is also better DPS, so u can kill all minions before boss respawns
Such a shit boss but i love asukayen. Quality is top notch. I know for GWD but when you do other vids itd be cool if you mention if you lose ur gear upon death. Cus when i watched older vids i have to google it and even then cant always find it so i sometimes run in with an invent of sharks to test it myself lol
last time i checked as in today the ranger does more dps on you since ya wearing a fk load magicndef and 99 magic to, honestly you all just copy old guides and doint dare to say how it really is lol

One thing should be noted if you can't afford a bandos godsword the Arclight special also lowers stats providing it hits
Arclight doesn't need to hit in order for the the stat drain to work. Every spec always lowers stats by 10% on demons or 5% on normal enemies.

i used to have keys as backup. but now with the 1 hour timer death timer its not that big of a deal. you can get 40 kc in 5-6 minutes

If you have boss tasks unlocked it rolls from all bosses regardless of combat level.

It does. But a charged serpentine helmet will grant you immunity to both poison and venom.

Zamorak is by far the easiest gwd boss, armadyl is the hardest....
That gear is awful you want to have highest attack and strength bonus so you can kill kril as fast as possible becuase you take the most damage when he is alive. Then you heal off the minions. Defender is better and also karil top and bottom will stop the mage minion destroying you. As for the fury I have found it a little better then torture for the minions

why blood barrage instead of guthans?
It heals more (also more consistently gets you to full hp as Guthan's relies on RNG procs), blood barrage is also better DPS, so u can kill all minions before boss respawns

Such a shit boss but i love asukayen. Quality is top notch. I know for GWD but when you do other vids itd be cool if you mention if you lose ur gear upon death. Cus when i watched older vids i have to google it and even then cant always find it so i sometimes run in with an invent of sharks to test it myself lol

I’m not lol. I just use lower tier gear for beginners videos. Beginners generally don’t have access to BIS gear. So why show them a guide with it?
