thats the reason many enfield owner suggested not to buy RE bike launch immediately, they always have issue accept meteor 350. Himalayan was horror to many people but I am RE fan

Good news that they have changed without any charge. I'm also a bit tense regarding chain sprocket set. BTW, I've got my Celestial red bike 5 days back. Driven only 290 km so far. Planning a round trip of 350 km this weekend before first service.
Should I apply some gear oil on chain before the ride? Like i do with my Thunderbird? What do you suggest?

I also own a super meteor and rode 950 kms till date , after watching yours and other videos regarding poor quality of chain sprocket I am bit tensed that will they handle others the same way as they take care of youtubers or influencers .

Bro, i just want to know: i am taking celestial 650, but at the time of PDI, i saw back chain sprocket is moving side slightly while at 1st gear. I didn't take the delivery yet and have the payment done. What should i do? I informed them, they told it is not a problem and has the bush is responsible for it. Is it?

Bhai mera v 100 150km andar hin chain loose ho jata hai. Only 5000 km chali hai!! Kya karna padegaa mujhe bhai!!

But this isn't the permanent solution. Ekbar to RE walo ne change kar diya but next time fir jab Aisa problem hoga tab kya hoga ?? Agar Aisa he chalta Raha to har 10k kilometres mein change karna padega . Already the service cost isn't pocket friendly for everyone & the cost of spare parts isn't cheap so RE should fix this issue ASAP or they need to reduce the price of spare parts.

Dada, yeh khud ke manufacturing defect ko deliberately hide kar rahe hai just ki SM unka flagship hai. Mere interceptor mein 17000+kms ho gaya, but believe me shayad 2-3 bar hi chain adjust kiya. still 10000km aur chalega. inke SM ke swingarm ke length mein hi kuch garbad hai design fault. Swingarm design mein garbar hai inka. 650 segment ke eligible mechanic hi nahi hai inke paas. Delhi lo ya mere WB mein.

dada,9yrs ho gaye. yeh gali galoch khaye bina 1inch bhi nahi hilte. Aap inpe good cordial behaviour rakhenge,yeh aapko ghumate rahenge. inka nature hi aisa hai. Anyways, kabhi Kolkata aye toh zarur milenge.

They changed it, good, but what was wrong with the old one? I mean the chainsets themselves are not defective usually, it's either alignment or bearing issues. If that is not fixed, the new chainsets will go to same state.
Don't know about it yet let's see if I face any issue after riding 4000km, I'll make video on it as gets any problem

Design defect... it's going to have the same issue after few kms... the sprocket is very small for such heavy bike even the back one looks very small.. at least the Royal Enfield engineer had to copy of Harley Davidson design... if they don't have any engineering skills... see Harley Davidson bike sprocket size they so Big back one also very big... this Super meteor 650 sprocket looks like Hero Honda 100 cd... very small... small...
The bike is good no question about it ... but this sprocket problem is huge... Need to change the design... ASAP... i was about to book one for Dewali... now my mind set is changed... 😢

@royalenfield My chainset is also ending on 10K and your Service and Customer care said this is not in warranty if this is not in warranty then how to change free for @AnilSisodia17 . It means if people make videos on chainset issue you will change for free and for other customers, no warranty?

Aap owner pehle, influencer baad mein. aapne paise diye hai,that is the thing that matters. you have to be harsh to extract your job. Hum hai toh RE hai, make sure to have this line.
Dear Anil I don’t appreciate the way you are advocating RE just bcs of the influencing for Free service that you have got, just imagine in case you have to pay for this ,than your stand would be different…..Rather you must only criticise RE for such kind of manufacturing defect and u must be a flag bearer to appeal people not to buy SM650 being a Social media influencer. Awaited for your stand after another 2k KM when again you have to face inconvenience of chain.

@@rideranil99 Agree however my urge you to don’t appreciate RE for the Free work done rather it’s a inconvenience for the people to reach out at Service centre and spoil whole day plead RE employees to get job done that too after spend 4.5 Lac….Just to share I supposed to take delivery of my SM650 at Delhi after look at this mess I drop the plan & cancel the booking…When I stated the reason of cancel these RE buggers pretend that they have no clue about this chain issue in SM…. When I shared few of the yours and other videos with them they said these people are getting paid for negative marketing….This is RE to we are praising for Free job they have done.
In this world nothing comes for FREE, RE did this just to hide there incompetency to deliver a product with such high price through keep the mouth shut of the people by offering a Free candy. 🍭
