Metro 340 comes with normal disc pads and sm 650 has ceramic discpads from brimbo..if you down grade then you will loose the bite force and wear would be higher....after market options would be better like vesrah...or ebc

I have always vouched for engine performance and safety ...In my classic 350 I bought in 2009 I have started using full synthetic engine oil to keep engine in best shape followed with classic 500 aftern2015 to 2024 till i purchased Sm 650...Even Ishan pahwa of RED ( Royal enfield delhi) always followed that...
Soon I have got Amsoil 10w50 100% synthetic and gonna add in bike soon...
Instead of loading bike with unnecessary accessories better pamper her with a good Full synthetic engine oil as air cooled and iridium spark plugs and yes with a good fuel.
Big bore twin cylinder obviously they heats up faster.... Normal bro...

Great! 👏 Good to know about the 15k run. Keep it up 👍 I would like to know the maintenance cost so far. Issues seen regarding brake pads, chain and sprocket etc. how many times changes were done. Tyre change was done? I own a celestial blue tourer variant. Eagerly waiting for the 15 k review.
Hi Buddy, I have a similar celestial bike which heats up even after riding for about 20kms at a stretch. I was being told that the heating issues will settle down once the first servicing will be done.
Pls elaborate more about your heating why you think it's getting more heat then other bike
Bike zada heat keregi to there is a sensor in it and bike will stope so jab Tak wo nahi aa rahi hai tab tk don't worry

@@riderstrail Great. thanks for your kind advice. I had taken it for a longer drive of 200 kms on National highway and it did not turn on the heat to that extent. So I assume it should not happen again now.
We have recently purchased, Sever heat is generated. Firsthand experience.
Severe heating how much ? Is there any light is coming from the sensor on the Desh boar .. there is a sensor if it over heats .. pls alobrate

I wanted to ask you something, is riding safe during night time, I mean I have heard about dacoits/thiefs/robbers snatching motorcycles/wallets/gold/money at forest area or where at the secluded places while traveling from two cities, so let me know if its safe while riding at night time?
Well most of the time it is safe dear spl in mountains or going west via Western ghats towards Goa I have done some parts are not safe in MP UP Bihar Orisa but rest all safe no issue as I know in south have faith in God and go but you need a gud experience too
The overheating on my Scrambler 803cc was due to encounter of repeated traffic jams. The bike is not designed for long runs. First was in Surat on way to Palsana. Next day on way to Vadodara also due to overturning of a truck. Then entering Jaipur. The Alpinestar boot soul opened like a crocodile’s open mouth.
On return at Vapi, Khandala and worst was in Pune due to a religious festival procession. I had to leave the road 4 kms from my home and wait for 2 hrs till the traffic began to move slowly.
I did many long rides on the Scrambler but never encountered such jams.
