- royal enfield ne mujhe khrab bike bechi hai aur wo uske baad us bike ko change karne ko ready nahi ho rahe, unki nazar mein bike mein koi problem nahi hai wo bilkul ok hai, wo customer ki na to sunne ko tayyar hain aur na hi uski baat samjhne ko customer agar marta hai to marr jaye unke baap ka kuchh nahi jaata
Now i realize that my decision to buy honda highness in 2020 during its launch time after cancelling RE bullet , was a wise decision. Now after 2.6 years covering 30,000kms , the engine quality is awesome and feels much refined with nil issues on its engine part.
Enfield is a joke in front of Honda the bikes honda sells in india is the technology of a cycle selling to us in India
Honda is the A1 in quality. But I dont like the looks compared to price as its almost cost of meteor. I have used Honda other bikes ..but they r awesome even though expensive. No one can beat Honda quality in India. Not even yamaha.
I have Honda Highness and the service centre is worse it took them one month to fix my bike after a small accident. India mein aa k sab khrab ho jaate hai coz we don't protest strong enough against such problems

Watched the full video. I agree to almost all the points made here. My friend has a GT Continental with the same issue but unfortunately he does not even want to admit that the bike is faulty. Such is the cult that RE has made. Further, RE dealers are mostly arrogant. The customer service is slammed. There is no respect for a general customers especially when he or she is new to the brand. Despite of all this, the cult continues to grow because Indian market does not have better options.

Sad to see this happening again! I faced such ignorance with my thunderbird years ago. No doubt they make some awesome machines but some issues that comes with bikes even the technical team isn’t aware of and that’s a nightmare. This led me to service my bike with local mechanics 😅

Totally agree. I bought classic 350 in 2017 and from day one there was rattling noise from engine. I complaint about to seevice center many times and they couldn't reslove the issue till date.

Bro Royal Enfield wale should listen to your problems & justice should be given honestly, otherwise you are having alternative ways.
You should file a case in consumer court if you faced the problems from the beginning. Use all the proofs you have and things would turn in your favour (maybe even a replacement).

I know RE from 1969. I kept Enfield till 1984 . Than my son bought it again in 2001 n kept it till 2009.
Now the problem with RE from last 60 years is their bikes need constant touch ups after every 500 km from a mechanic who knows RE not who is working there agencies n doing basic stuff like engine oil change n all.
If u have that mechanic who is taking care of ur bike like I told u after every 500 km than RE is a delight otherwise chain set , rear braking pads, tapet adjustment, overheating winters lol, crank life ,chain set life all these problems will hit your pocket hard .
Believe me it's still same with RE . Find some good outside agency mechanic if you keep RE. Agency staff knows nothing of this bike . This is my 60 years experience with RE n I have rode whole India on it I literally mean that .

Royal Enfield doesn't seem to have a Quality Control department... They seem to have outsourced it to customers.... Sorry bro... It is indeed painful... I like HERO for this.. Even though there is a skill deficit with some of the dealerships... They do not hesitate to replace parts and keep the customer satisfied.

I would say please diagnose your bike for your chassis, Many RE bikes new ones have bend chassis which cause this type of issue. They are not accepting it because they have to change your bike and for this they are not Ready. Show your bike to the local mechanic or i would prefer to refer you to the NCR Motorcycle. they are in delhi only
Even I faced such problems when I bought i20 Active Model of Hyundai in 2017. But I couldn't fight in the manner you fought. So, hats off to you.

It seems that the dealership sold you an defective bike on purpose. And tried to mask issues with Royal Enfield.
Check wheel balancing, if not- Chassis, swing arm or alloys one or more of them are warped. All the best trying to convince RE about the issue - they'll never listen. Keep emailing Mr. Lal, he's a nice person and will respond, only then there can be a solution.

Some RE service centers really need attention from the company, I faced service center related issues earlier,. but some are very good, you need to search them even if they are far away from your residence. For me it looked like cone set issue.

Bhaai ek similar scene I have experienced in childhood with my bycycles, try diagnosing in this form:
1) Place the Bike in Double Stand and make sure the front tyre has touched on ground while on main stand, keep the handlebar/position straight,
2) Come in front of the Bike to some 2-3 foot distance from bike,
3) Watch/Observe carefully the angle of front wheel/tyre from top to bottom or bottom to top like from: Sky to Ground or Ground to Sky,
4) Observe if the front wheel between the fork pipes looks properly straight or looks somewhat tilt from Sky to Ground or vise-versa.
If the wheel looks tilt then this could be the root cause in which the tilted wheel from its root/axel is causing pressure on the steering from the direction right/left on the top/sky level.
e.g.: if it is left side tilted or slightly tilted from Sky end then the bike will do some auto turn in left angle while riding. If it is right side tilted or slightly tilted from Sky level the the bike would feel pressure/auto-turn on right direction while riding.
If this is the case then try aligning the front wheel 90' degree straight from ground and equidistant within the both fork pipes. 👍🏻👍🏻🙂
Also try checking the distance of front tyre from both the fork pipes from the fender/mud-guard fitting area.
Take a footruller/scale touch it to the tyre from right side at or just below the fender fitting, lift the bike from front side being touched rear wheel on ther ground on main stand, rotate the front wheel having the scale touched the tyre & right side fork pipe, note the distance. Do same thing from left side of front tyre and left fork pipe. If there is difference found left/right sides measurements then the wheel is tilted in the minimum measurement side.
+ agar front wheel properly axel se fitted hei and fir bhi tilted maalum ho rahaa ho to ek ho saktaa hei:
Right or left inner shocker pipe me same aligned balance nahi hei, maane: donno inner pipes ek dusre ke saath smaantar balanced nahi hei. Agar imbalanced hei to proper balancing karke bhi shaayad issue resolve ho jaaye.

Very well explained. I had the same issue. I bought classic 500 in 2013, bike started going right side while riding I faced lot of shoulder and wrist pain bcoz of that I showed it to showroom but they couldnt diagnose it. After years of trying to service centers I showed it to my local mechanic Hussain he said " bike ke tyre ka pichewala chimta bend hai" when he actually removed the bend was very much visible I replaced with new one and problem solved. But I had to face the one side wear of tyre which I changed immediately and sprocket damage.
RE don't accept and diagnose their manufacturing defects. And.local mechanics are far more efficient in solving such issues.

I had similar issue when my bullet 350 front wheel drum cracked within an year of purchase. I was told by the service manager that it happened because of potholes 😂. At that moment I had to compare bullet with hero #splendour which goes on without any such complaints for years on Indian roads. Anyways, I managed then to get it replaced because the bike was still under warranty. With all the RE service experiences, I finally moved away to Honda, living a happy life ever after.

I’ve had the same issue with STD 350. I escalated it to the highest possible level. In the end they changed my chassis. The problem was resolved but not 100%. After fighting for 2 months I gave up. Now riding the same 350 since 2014. Will switch to triumph soon.
I faced the same issue with classic 350. I had to visit the service center every Saturday and Sunday for the first 7 months. The bike was turning right, the speedometer was jumping, the spokes were loose. Yes faults were from the date of delivery. I started visiting the service center from the second day till 7 months.

If the same issues would have been faced by a customer in america or europe...they simply replace the bike with no questions asked. Lene se pahle sari baat clear kar leni chahiye regarding replacement. Its good tht you made a video on youtube. It will bring a bad word of mouth and will hit the company's sales.
Planning to buy SM650. Took a test drive at RE Kailash Colony and noticed a right pull in the test drive bike. Thought it was some mundane issue. But it seems that its pervasive. Somebody had correctly pointed out in the comment section that RE is like a lottery. 😢

Sad situation that you have to go thru.... just a few thoughts on this.
1 Todays new age engines have spring loaded tappets which automatically compensate for the need of tappet settings, if this is REs 500 km check list, I seriously think there's something wrong here.
2. Your pulling to the right side is most likely happening because your bike was dropped / fallen ( explains the bent handle) by someone.
Worse case scenario the Chasis is bent, which many Himalayan owners have complained about in some case broken contests n Ts.
Hope you get a repaired or ask for a refund.
That's nightmare.
Go for Wheel Alignment check and try to check front wheel bearing.

You can go for the int650 I'm using one since 2 years and 30k kms. Have done 10 states of India and long rides of 5k plus kms. I'm glad I'm with RE parts and replacement are easy on my pocket, ownership is inexpensive

There is no option to reject the delivery because engineering registration is done . You can only inspect for scratches , rusts , micro dents cracks that they can make it vanish infornt of your eyes . Once you drive the bike out of showroom with registered number plate you are on your own . There should be law for post delivery issues atleast for 6 months or 5000 kms where customer can get replacement or entire money in case bike has mfg defect to core

Had a faulty fork seal on my Meteor 350 from the date of delivery. Thought it was just grease that got on somehow when the bike was delivered but turns out the oil was leaking the whole time, even when I was driving it out of the showroom. I was too excited that I was blind to this detail and didn't pay much attention until the oil literally started dripping out when I parked the bike after like 7 days. Went to the local mechanic as I was kinda worried ( I did go to the dealership first but they said I had to book an appointment unless its an emergency, like bro my oil was literally dripping out at that time too) and the dealership was quite far from my home, he inspected it a bit and said the seal had some metal pieces that might have got on during manufacturing. I went to the dealership again and they asked me for 1500 Rs to fix the issue, which I felt like was a bit too much. Spoke with my mechanic first and he told me he can fix it for only 500 for me if I could buy a thunderbird fork seal and I did that instead, no issues till today.

Sad story! I would suggest getting a technical expert to check it and send a legal notice to RE directly mentioning how a manufacturing defect is not being accepted by the company & a replacement is not provided. Go to consumer court if nothing desired comes out. Best of luck!

The obvious reason for which the handlebar tilt issue generally arises is due to faulty bearing either in rim hub or frame to T connector.

This actual fault is the main chassis is not aligned 100% between the front n rear vertical angle and not perpendicular.....
My 33 years old RE standard bullet is perfect without any issues.....all the new gen bikes r 100% bullshit....waste of money.

Bhai same thing faced by me in Nov21 I bought classic reborn from same showroom United Automobiles Wazir they denied me to take the test ride before registration I told them I will provide you total payment of the bike after that I need a small test ride for my satisfaction before registration he said okay and the payment as per we have decided for the test ride he denied it that it against of our norms and you can take the bike once registration is done it’s totally new bike bla bla….. Even my friends were there they also told me to go ahead and give them the otp for registration but my mind got stuck and I got rigid I told them okay cancel out my delivery I am not going to buy the bike without test ride so he got pissed and went back to the management and then he came again and said okay you can take a small test ride so I took the bike for a spin and on the first go I realised that something is wrong with the handle bar coz I have already taken 3-4 test ride of reborn classic from multiple dealership after realising that something is wrong with the bike and took a very small spin like for 300-400 meters and no one can say there is a problem with the bike in that much spin so I came back and ask the person that the handle bar is not upto the mark he replied and said that it’s a face lift and because of the fuel gage you are having problem of adaptability after a while you’ll be use to it so I agree that maybe he is right it’s a newly launched bike so I took the delivery went back and was using the bike happily until one of known appeared and he is the one who inspired me to buy the bike and told me that your handle bar is different and that was the day I realised that I was right at that time now keeping it to short I can relate your story same as mine when they got no clue of the bike problem they use to say we didn’t get the training and all it’s you only you are the problem 😂🙏🏻 why you have bought our bike why you are spending your hard earned money on us did we ask you no 😂😂so jokes apart if you have read this much then here is a valuable advise for you from my side if you want to buy anything whether it’s a bike, car, scooter, or mobile…etc then just wait for the second lot manufactured by the manufacturer so if there are problems so that they can rectify them and update in from the second lot manufactured so thank you guys for reading if you are here..
And one more thing helpful thing to the owner of this bike try to look out for the best dealership there and get a wheel alignment it work for my bike after changing at least 5 service service I got the one I was looking for…moral of the story is you have bought the bike you are going to adjust with the bike else you can sell it but believe the moment you realised that’s it there is is no solution for it you are going to chill with RE so brother I can feel the pain of spending that much money and still result’s zero so you need courage to believe that it’s going to be okay just get use to it.

I owned a classic 350 about 11 years ago (1st gen) and frankly I felt both the sales and service attitude was quite arrogant!
Probably I think they just felt so entitled as they owned the segment! I am glad they have stiffer competition today but the attitude doesn’t seem to still change! Hopefully people will pay attention to this detailed review before placing their money on this brand!
Siddharth Lal should pay attention to how the cash cow of Eicher motors is faring in the field with not owning up to its manufacturing mistakes! This is so unfair to this and others who have to go through this!
I had a bullet standard 350, which gave me a similar problem. I got the front wheel spokes balanced. It is a simple procedure where the wheel is dismounted placed on a stand and rotated. Any wobble in the tires is noted and spokes length adjusted. Pl try this out.

Definitely, a case of bad quality check stage unless there was any impact during transportation to dealership. 2.4 quintal vehicle doesn't depart from straight line unless a force is applied or it is aligned to go that way. Your case is bad alignment. Agar consumer court se bhi nyay naile toh chassis ko align karwa lo, bhai.

Definitely, CHASIS is bent and NOT aligned. It is a manufacturing defect. Go to consumer court and get either NEW CHASIS or vehicle replaced or get refund.
Don't waste your time. Straight away file a complaint with the consumer forum and demand for a refund.
This is one of the biggest reasons why people are saying away from enfield. Poor quality compared to the 80s and 90s, pathetic service staff etc....
I have also faced similar problem for my Thunderbird 350x. It automatically pulls towards right side. Tried multiple different service centers. But none of them could solve the problem. Now I am living with the problem. 😢

I think you are handed over with demo bike kept in pristine condition cosmetically . Mechanical issue are there only because this bike might have driven roughly .
