And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed.. Every knee shall bow and every tongue MUST confess that Jesus is Lord! Be blessed, don't forget the message... Put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to save you from sin and let his glory be revealed in your life
Amen! 🙌 “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” saying with a loud voice : “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!” Revelation 4: 11, 5: 12 NKJV
This brings back memories. In my last two years at Del Norte high school, I was in a pretty advanced choir called Opus Won under the tutelage John Staruts, God rest his soul. We would sing this as the finale of our Christmas program. Crescent City was a small town and people from all over would come; not just parents. We would sing it once, and then sing it again inviting anyone in the auditorium who wanted to join. People would stream out of the seating with their own Handel song books.
This is what it's all about, ordinary folk of all ages wanting to sing together. Turning up at choir practice after a busy or fraught day, meeting friends and getting to grips with and enjoying the sheer glory of the music.
What an outstanding group.Last night I sang with a bass section of a church group that performed The Messiah. If we sounded half as good as this chorus, I will be very pleased.
only two group of age i like listen concerning choir song, the youngests (for their so pure voices) and the oldests (for their experience in terme of beautiful voice)...ole!
The music director is an amazing person. He radiates energy in to the choir. His elegant body movements, the precision with which he signals the start of each piece is simply wonderful.
This is the best rendition I have heard of this piece...If this is a small town choir, I would be very proud to be a member of this group. they are awesome...Cudoes to you...
How can we not love this music (Handel Messiah)? I have never been tired of listening to them. I sing (solo) them in my church. When I sing them even children stop and listen. I play them in my car, at home, in the plane, at school during my lunch period. They bring me closer to Jesus. Thank you Jesus for such great a gift to mankind. These song are songs of hope and restoration. One of these days, when Jesus (the hope of all ages comes), I will see Bach and Handel. Praise God.
I was really enjoying this right up to exactly 2:07-2:09 when I was jolted by perfection. There was a leader in the soprano section that absolutely nailed it and the section was right there with her! Same with the tenors. IMPRESSIVE and POWERFUL performance! BRAVO.
Searched this to pracice this for my choir. WOW! This Bow Valley Chorus sounds absolutely terrific! I can only hope my choir can sound sort of close to this. And, whoever engineered this video did a fantastic job too, the mix was superb. Alberta talent at that! Bravo, hats off, etc.........
Research say messiah is played 5000 times every year in all around the world. This is a music from God. It will live forever while others will only live in a trend
Handel has no peers as a composer of oratorios. He stands head and shoulders over all composers in this regard. I get goose bumps when listening to this song.
Fantastic conductor, great to follow and drew so much from the choir. I would love to have preformed under him. I have song this piece and other from Handel and Mendelssohn. What a great performance!
You cant deny the fact that when you listen to Heleluja you imagine something heavenly and powerful. The composer was inspired to write this music for God. He got his inspiration from the Bible. You cant just change the lyrics and think it wil be another song. The composers original plan was to make an awesome song about Gods glory. Different lyrics change the personality, mood, meaning, depth, and basically everything ofthis song. dont mean to argue but the songs purpose is to praise God.
I binge-listen to this song at least a couple of times every year. I have compared this rendition to many others (including those by some of the largest and most famous orchestras) on UA-cam and this is by far my favorite! The sound, the timing, the expression, the feeling, and the conductor!!! There is nothing tired, tinny, or perfunctory from the chorus or musicians. Every piece of this beautiful performance is spot on and so uplifting!!! Thank you Bow Valley Chorus!!! And thank you jstumple 🙏🙌💓🎶👏
I remember singing this in high school choir...a wonderful conductor, teacher, friend and mentor Nick Arbor. This brings back memories...WHAT was Mr. Arbor thinking LOL how did he ever rein in a group of crazy high school kids to perform Handle? And we loved loved loved every minute of it. God Bless Nick Arbor
@Gaggymott - The conductor is John Goulart... he is also a classsical guitarist. He lives in Banff, AB Canada. I used to sing in this choir many years ago. he is amazing to work with!!
@texmustangbullitt Aloha from Hawai'i where our snow is on a volcano! I am British lad, and I was being my usual cultural snobbish self, thumbing through UA-cam and then was just put to shame at this wonderfully vibrant Canadian presentation of the Messiah. The orchestra is very nice indeed full and rich. The pronunciation is soft and refreshing. It's a holiday suprise!
I have just discovered this amazing group of talent! You are truly blessed and your beautiful performance of this brought tears to my eyes!! God's Children you are indeed!
I LOVE this piece and the variety of sound and range. The happiness of what God is bringing to this world in the near future is in these words and love that He will pour His spirit upon the land. It so needs it. I have gotten to sing with a choir a combination of parts where the choir was having trouble coming through. It was as though I had my own special script. I was alto/tenor and sometimes bass too! The sopranos NEVER need any extra help if you haven't noticed ;-)
This was particulary inspirational as I used it to practice for the choir I sing in. I would have been happy to have sounded 1/10 as good as this group! A simply grand performance! From a fellow Albertan!
And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed.. Every knee shall bow and every tongue MUST confess that Jesus is Lord!

It is one of the best, I have ever heard! Gorgeous voices.
their voices are to die for!!! awesome performance.

Handel was in the zone and fully inspired by the almighty. Praise God.
The Best That Men Could Ever Do Is To Sing To The GLORY Of The LORD.
wonderful! This is such a moving piece because the creator was moved by praise for the Highest Power of all to give praise! Gotta love it

This song is forever stuck in my head. My school's chorus {myself included} just sang a few selections from Messiah. Beautiful music. Wahoo, tenors!
BOW VALLEY is the BEST and you can actually HEAR every note!!!
I had to conduct this in college and I fell in love with it. If you're new to Handel's Messiah, get into it. You'll be glad you did.
only two group of age i like listen concerning choir song, the youngests (for their so pure voices) and the oldests (for their experience in terme of beautiful voice)...ole!
Rest in peace g.handels this is the best of ur songs, may GOD rest you in peace
The music director is an amazing person. He radiates energy in to the choir. His elegant body movements, the precision with which he signals the start of each piece is simply wonderful.

This Song is so beautiful .. we will sing it with our NAC Youth Concert Chor.
Bravo, Bravo!! .... Deserves a round of applause everytime I listen it.
one of the best renditions ever
There is no joy as deep, no hope as eternal, no love as secure as that found in Christ our Lord.
Well spoken!

Excellent! I remember performing this with church choir a few years back. Not the whole Messiah, just this one piece.
Dynamic conductor with drive, energy, and spirit!
Me imagino que en el cielo asi vamoz a cantar Gloria al Señor de Señores y Rey de Reyes.
Fantastic conductor, great to follow and drew so much from the choir. I would love to have preformed under him. I have song this piece and other from Handel and Mendelssohn. What a great performance!
OUTSTANDING! Thank you!!!
Beautifully performed by all in the chorus!
Singing this song today at our Lessons and Carols event!!!!
Sincerely impressive given the size of the choir/orchestra. Bravo, kids.

This is a perfect learning tool for the timing.
alto for 'and the glory'!!!! a super exciting song!!!
An exceptional performance with wonderful rhythmic drive. The bass line also stands out extremely well. Brilliant!
they don't make it like this anymore,
I hope the choir are really singing from their hearts and the lyrics are meaningful to them.

MARVILOUS
both Mozart and Beethoven said this was the best work ever done
This is what I do in my spare time........such a life
I love the way he silences the choir at the end of the sustained plagal cadance of the outro, he moves his arm so quickly!
I love how you kept the tempo up on this piece. It is easy to let it drag down to nothing by the end. GREAT JOB!
Saudades de cantar essa música.
HalleluJah! St. John 3:16!
St. John 16:24!
Amen!
