The kit I put on was the Legend Extreme, The suspension works fantastic! When my son made this video it truley was the first time it had been on a trail since going from leafs to coil overs. I have since tweaked a couple of things and it works even better. Yes it will work on a CJ-8.

Currie Rock Jock 60's. 64" wide WMS to WMS is the minimum on 40's

Right front suspension up travel is limited by the drive shaft (hits the starter) I lifted the engine an inch to help. The one disadvantage of a right side diff drop.

Is this a kit? I dont see it on the website? Will this work with the Scrambler?
Bummer about KOH. That whole clog up at Chocolate Thunder was nuts.

Great cj7 love the idea of coil spring conversion always have but what's up with this super annoying back round music which there is absolutely no reason for , it's border line offensive bro to my ears anyway sounds like a fuckin police siren. Now a great video would be a fully coil spring conversion , stroked and built 4.0 straight 6cyl , Ax-15 swap with either a beefed up Np231 or Np242 or ya could just stick with the stock reliability of the gear driven Dana 300 T-case. Always have wanted a.cj-7 a Cj , almost had one as a kid for my first car but somebody bought it hours before I was about to. So Instead I've had 6 Jeep Cherokee XJ's , an 88 laredo, an '89 sport which was 2 door 5speed 😁 , a '91 Laredo in mint shape , a real nice clean '96 country which my ex fiance barrel rolled at 60mph and damn near cruahed the roof almost flat and she somehow thank God walked away with very minor injuries. Lastly I had a mint clean absolutely rust free '97 SE baseline 4 door with a 4.0 and 5spd ax15 and 4:10 gears swap in the front and back that I managed to grab out of a 4cyl Xj for $200. This one the '97 was one of my favorites fpr sure. It was bright red, with charcoal Interior and plain old vinyl fuckin seats manual windows and locks, only options it had was 4doors, a roof rack, A/C , and a full size spare and of course the 4.0 instead of the 2.5. best of all the previous owner had lightly rear ended somebody (needed a nose but the bags didn't blow) but never reported it to the insurance company and just decided to sell it for cheap, so I being a master collision tech, welder and highly capable mechanic bought this clean titled rust free beauty for $400!!! That's it!!!. Took $700 in replacement panels and new body parts and of course materials cost to paint it where I worked along with a little $50 tip for the painter and within two short days of maybe working 3-4 hours each day I had it looking like it just rolled out of the showroom literally, I think there was like maybe 2 little minor dings on the whole vehicle I mean it was freaken minty mint. So I did a 99+ intake manifold swap, larger throttle body with spacer swap , mustang 5.0 injectors , a nice cold air intake , decent stainless steel headers going to a full 2.5" midpipe , no cat just a straight through bullet race resonator and into a flowmaster 50 series then 2.5" tailpipe to finish it off. I didn't want it lifted or anything I wanted it to be an awesome year round road Jeep that was peppy and handled well for a Jeep , so I also swapped in thicker sway bars from a Xj country ,. And biggest help of all that woke it up alot I swapped in a pair of axles, a chy 8.25"/dana 30 with 4.10:1 gears in them which I managed to grab for $200 from a stock 2.5l Xj. I'll tell ya after those mods and the gear swap and 5 speed ax-15 trans it was pretty dang peppy , thing used to literally roast the rear tires almost entirely through 1st and 2nd (no lsd) and bark 3rd real loud, it was very impressive . I eventually ditched the factories steelies with the little 215/70r15's on them and got a set of nice 15x8"s from a Tj the wheels that came with the 30" tire option in the TJ ,and I bought some nice rugged aggressive all terrain tires in 30"x9.5"x15 and mounted them up with my new wheels too and it now was near done , it looked awesome and I loved everything about it ,I used to love taking it on two lane fire roads In the woods and play smokey and the bandit burning out and drifting it all over the place in 2wd. Last mod was a pair of leaf spring packs from a Jeep Cherokee with the upcountry suspension package. I only Installed upcountry springs in the rear cause I wanted to level the XJ out not lift it as they tend to sag In the rear with little to no load, I didn't this cause I used the XJ to pull my 17' Bayliner Capri bowrider around which had a slightly worked 120hp two stroke outboard motor made by a company called Force, In reallity force bought the Chrysler marine branch of the company and kept the motors identical for many many years only changing the labeling on them, it was a fantastic outboard motor that i loved , did about 48-49 mph topped out with two people on the boat which isn't bad at all , I could just hit 50mph with only me on board. Man I miss that jeep and that boat , the Jeep was the least reliable out of all the Jeeps I'd owned as it died an early unpredictable death out of virtually no where one day. I'd just filled my tank at the gas station on my way home from work one day and when I pulled outta the gas station got a out a 1/4 mile and a sudden and Loud rod knock came outta no where with only 230k on the motor . It still ran and drive but I sold it due to also owning mid-12 second Honda CRX B-series and the '96 XJ country oh well.

      TOO LONG, didn't read.
Seriously?!?! Do you always write autobiographies in UA-cam comments? I feel like the only thing we don't know about you is how many long nose hairs you pluck a day and what shoe size you wear.
Find a book publisher next time. We UA-cam fans can barely read which is why we need to see the stories in video format.
Stroked 4.0L with an AX-15? You either have very low standards or extremely high hopes for the engine and trans. And a 231 or 242? Not to say they won't work, but to push 40's? That's hella optimistic. V8 or diesel, aftermarket t-case like an Atlas and a 1-ton trans.
You never mentioned diffs, but judging by your engine, trans and t-case options, I'll assume you'll be doing this build on a Dana 35 and Dana 30 with 3.07 final drive?
Ya, send me a postcard when you're ready to run that. I'll bring a slo-mo camera to document the grenade affect.
Seems you still have some Jeep build learning to do son. Go study up!👍
