too cold for swim unless youre english or nordic

That's a shame because I'm a Croatian living in Ireland and I hate how cold the sea is here. I understand that this is a river (and freshwaters are colder), but last year in May when I was in Istria, it was decent enough to swim compared to Ireland during its most hottest weather.
