I’ve had mostly good luck but language and translation can be difficult. Ask for any extra pictures but that can also be tricky because you’ll notice several shops have the exact same guitar for sale so it’s not always “in hand”. That’s common there and not typically a concern . Good luck!
* late 70’s/early 80’s 😏
Was thinking of buying one till I heard it. Thanks! Saved me a ton of money.
Probably one of the best sounding out there. Under wound pickups great sustain.
Love the explanation. How about giving the vendor some love by sharing his link in case we want to buy a Yamaha?
@@mattg629 Good point. The seller was on ebay and believe they have a Reverb store as well: JP Sounds. Cheers!
@@PhoenixGuitars Thanks man!
I understand the SL450 and SL550 came out in 1982 & 83 and were similar to the Lord Player model's that came out after them.
Hi, could you give any advise on buying a Studio Lord from Japan over the internet?

I think capacitors can be installed to improve sound with coil taping.
I have one and it sounds fantastic
Nitro finish? Sorry I was multitasking while listening. BTW, I think it sounds fine.
I believe it is nitro.
How much is this
She gone!
@@PhoenixGuitars this kind of guitars didnt exist already??
@@mattgulfan sorry, not understanding the question.
@@PhoenixGuitars we can't buy this guitar?? In malls??
@@mattgulfan no you cannot. They don’t make these anymore.
i like aerosmith
it sound like epiphone 59 limited edition.
I have both a Yamaha lord player and epiphone and I tell you. The Yamaha is a lot better quality made and sounds a lot better then the epiphone
yamaha got better sustain than any epis out there.
