- Although I was there, I did not record this. There were two videos of it up on UA-cam - one ended before the performance did, the other caught only the last 20 seconds. This was my favorite piece from the night, and I send much thanks to Thekeega and samschaust for posting their respective videos! All I've done here is spliced them together for uninterrupted enjoyment. :-)
Apologies for any drop in video quality. FLVs converted to WMV, then spliced in MovieMaker.
He can make his audience feel any emotion he wants them to. He can make them see his vulnerable side, his humorous side, his serious side.. anything. He is a true artist. Maybe the last one left. Kudos, Bo. I wish there were words for me to express how much respect I have for you. I only wish I really DID know you.

He is such a genius it actually is a serious issue for him. It's actually one of the most intelligent things I've ever seen.
I feel like this was his way of expressing his stress of people judging him when they don't really know what it's like for him.

This video acctually makes me cry because its about Bo being an amazing comedian and about people's views on him even though he was a total loser before all this. He's 20 and has all this success. Where the hell am I going to be at 20? Not touring around the world I'm sure of that. I'll still be the loser with no friends.

My perspective about Bo changed as soon as I heard "Art is Dead." Every serious song he does makes me want to give his tall, sweet ass a hug.

I'm pretty sure all the microphone stuff is planned ahead of time. Just like the Irritable Bowl Syndrome joke.
But he is so good that he does it in different parts of the show, each place he goes. Making it feel like it's spontaneous. He is truly one of the comics that will be around for awhile. I don't think he's even really peaked yet. Can't wait ot see what's to come. Just hope his fans now don't turn on him when he eventually blows up.

@Tarquinist Seems to me if he didn't want some laughs he wouldn't have pointed down.
Bo's work has always been funny with serious undertones or serious with funny undertones, but the funny is always there. You can't fault people for laughing when an artist deliberatly puts funny undertones into their work, no matter how serious the meaning really is. I like Bo because he makes me happy, like he's saying, there's nothing too serious to laugh at. Thats just what I get out of it though.
