Yes, downhill. Some specialist magazines even questioned the 248 it claimed when driving straight. The 248 was for the manual transmission, the automatic transmission was a few km/h slower. Even the i35 with 302 hp managed "only" 283 km/h with the Z32SE. Real speed, mind you, not according to the speedometer. My Z28NEL showed 265 on the speedometer at a real 250 km/h. :D
My Astra H 1.6lt run easily 240km/h even if the road is slightly uphill:D on flat road you can expect 250km if you have more space. On slightly downhill parts of motorway can run 260-265km/h and it’s only 20hp more than the Octavia 2.0fsi and of course stock. 😂
Mag sein, hier gehts einfach drum das man sieht was das auto in einem Werkszustand drauf hat. Auf einer längeren grade würd er noch n bisschen mehr schaffen, auf diesem Tempo kommt er relativ schnell an😁👍🏽
SWAP gearbox to manual 6 , 275 Km/h no problem .
Manual was 5-speed, 5th gear up to 289 km/h theroretical speed

It’s not the top speed. You need a little bit more space but this car tops at around 245km/h gps and around 256km/h tacho
My 150hp 2.0FSI Skoda Octavia (2007) goes 240, too... 🤷🏻
I had the 2.0 fsi octavia too.
It was going to maximum 220 kmh.
And it was take hell long..

Dazu brauche ich keinen v6 mein opel vectra 2.3 läuft über 256 km schnell und ist nur ein 4 zylinder zender
