I get why you like Cheetah Hunt and Cobra's Curse more than the typical enthusiasts. For me Cobra's Curse doesn't always spin as much as I hope and other times it spins the way I hope. For me Iron Gwazi is clearly #1, with Montu a clear #2 and Kumba a clear #3. After that I think I slightly prefer Cheetah Hunt over Sheikra, Tigris, and Cobra's Curse. Scorpion is #8.

I've only ridden 7 coasters so I'll rank the ones I rode 1. Iron Gwazi 2. Montu 3. Cheetah Hunt 4. SheiKra 5. Kumba 6. Cobras Curse 7. Air Grover Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who DOES NOT think Kumba is top 3. It's extremely overrated I prefer Hulk at Islands of Adventure. Doesn't mean Kumba is bad, it's really fun but it's just overrated. Also I personally enjoy Montu more than Cheetah Hunt but honestly I can see why you like Cheetah Hunt more.
Gotta say my girlfriend and I would probably agree. We just went a couple weeks ago and although we didn't think Tigris and Sand serpent were worth riding and Cobra's Curse was closed, The rest of your ranking is spot on with how we felt and we're both huge coaster fans. Kumba is a classic but it is very rough a very much a one and done. Maybe younger people can handle the roughness better but as an adult, it is too much.
Very solid. I'm personally a much bigger fan of Cobra's Curse than most people and rank it as second best in the park but I really like theming and that queue line is phenomenal and the on ride theming is quite nice so that's my bias. I'm oddy satisfied about your placement of Kumba. I like Kumba. It's fun. But I don't agree with the hype around Kumba. I'd certainly take Montu over Kumba and I'd take any B&M Batman clone over Kumba. I'd take several floorless coasters over Kumba. It doesn't mean I hate it. I just don't think it deserves the kind of singular praise it usually gets. And Cheetah Hunt and Iron Gwazi are way better than Kumba but Cheetah Hunt seems to often be relegated to number 4 or number 5 on a lot of people's BGT ranking.

I know its controversial but I don't really enjoy Kumba, was rough when I rode it and the coaster is very generic, I love Tigris because of the airtime and launch.
My favorite roller coaster there is Iron Gwazi followed by Cheetah Hunt, Sheikra, Kumba, Montu, Cobra's Curse, Tigris, Scorpion, Sand Serpent and Python (R.I.P.).

I just went to BGG, yesterday, but unfortunately didn’t make it in time for Iron Gwazi. It’s looks awesome though. I will definitely make it my first coaster on my next visit.

Are you 40 yet? It seems like you’ve hit forty by enjoying the experience of riding a really good family launch coaster with a child you probably didn’t have to coerce to ride over one of the more intense suspended coasters that you probably had ranked too high based on you personal comfort level. I know I’ve been there! Great video, keep it up!
In my opinion, Iron Gwazi looks more promising than Steel Vengeance in terms of being a top 10 coaster for me, never been to BGT yet but SteVe was a little disappointing as I was expecting more (intensity?) from it, I guess. One day when I visit, I hope Iron Gwazi will be like the hyper version of Twisted Timbers, which was everything I thought SteVe would be lol
Steel vengence is 1ft shorter, and 6ft less steep yet it has the most airtime moments and iron gwazi has nothing and it is 1 minute longer + it has a vest unlike the crappy lap bar

While I do understand making a structure super rigid also makes it less sturdy, at the 24 sec mark, that shift the track makes on Iron Gwazi tells me that this may me a maintenance nightmare in that Florida heat and humidity. Still can hardly wait for my first ride.
i rode iron gwazi today and i have to say its not very good in my opinion. while it is a top 3 i dont see the hype. the whole time it hurt my neck forcing it to touch my back. may have just been the seat i was in
I've not been there and don't have kids but I think I'd changed your #6-#3 spot this way: #6: Cobra's Curse, 5: Sheikra; 4: Kumba; 3: Montu. Other than that I'd say it was a perfect countdown.

I would agree with him. Kumba is thirty years old and rattles your head around. It also draws no crowds. It’s beautiful to look at but that’s it.

Yeah, I hear that Steel Vengeance has wood replaced on it constantly, so I assume will be the case for Iron Gwazi
i ride cheetah hunt in 2021 and it was the most painful coaster i’d ever been on. this is my number 10. i’m 6’2” and OMG. the pain
