When is the best time to ride Iron Gwazi?!? ... Anytime, duh!

Not really it runs super slow until late afternoon
BGT is our home park, so we go frequently. 2 things.
Frequently, when we go, Iron Gwazi does not open at the same time as the park. It's typically 20~30 minutes (or more) before they let riders into the line to ride. So you may not wait long in the queue, but you still wait. the line frequently gets back to the entrance stores before they open the ride (i.e. build-a-bear store).
Second. They recently changed the Serengeti Flyer ride. They send it at 2 different levels. Before 1:30p, it's the tamer version that doesn't go as high and as fast. After 1:30p, it's full speed/height. Just keep that in mind depending on how much of a thrill seeker you are.
My trip to Busch gardens is today I live in Orlando and have been wanting to go for over 7 years I'm looking forward to gwazi

Good Video, my only suggestion, especially for those with kids, to not stay anywhere near the park.. the area surrounding the park, is not safe at night. We always stay in Brandon, which is about 3 exits south of the park (15-20 minute drive, but worth it). Super nice area with lots of restaurants to eat at.
I actually suggest you make Cheetah Hunt your first ride of the day. When I went to the park in September of 2022, Cheetah Hunt had a wait time of 45 minutes to an hour or more while the longest wait time I saw for Iron Gwazi was only 30 minutes. I then suggest Cobra's Curse since it had a 35 minute wait and then Month since it's right next to it. What you do afterwards is up to you.
Yes cheetah hunt is the most popular ride in the park and consistently has an hour+ wait on busy days

1) I dont go to Iron Gwazi at opening, I do the Cheetah Hunt, and Cobras Curse area then back to the Shekira area, loop back to Iron Gwazi mid day.
2) Adventure Island for me was overrated in 2021, not special, seems like an average water park. SFNE water park seemed the same to me.
3) As I live in the NE, I can get the sea world platinum pass at the park of my choice. I go with San Antonio as its way cheaper as I don't care about the park perks but want admission and preferred parking.
4) Ill be visiting end of this month during the week, hope its very slow
Absolutely Loved Every Minute
We were there the last week of March this year and it was amazing, the map in the app is absolutely worthless just use the ones posted around the park. Use the link in the app to book your stay and get length of stay passes and parking for everyone in your room for less than you would pay for the room and we were at the Holiday Inn Express just down from the park. Instead of paying the high prices for food inside the park pack a cooler and some foldable chairs and go out to car for lunch and catch your breath.
I've seen a lot of videos on BGT & this is a really gr8 won! I'd still say I enjoy OkCoasters video more, but the information & editing in this video is truly on point.

Hey I’ve just finish my visit and it was amazing, me and my friends hit all of the rides we wanted too and got to ride iron gwazi and cheata hunt with short lines in the morning and we overall just had a blast
Iron gwazi and cheetah hunt are my #1 and #2 in BGT respectively

Brandon great video! But Serengeti Flyer now features what they call a milder ride where the ride does not reach its maximum swing until 1:15 and after it runs normally I think it is stupid lol!
I made my long-awaited (17 years) return to BGT a few days ago (a Wednesday). Unfortunately for me, the park closed at 6pm so no Gwazi night rides for me 😐
I did get several night rides on VelociCoaster Tuesday and Thursday so that helped ease the pain.
We are going to Busch Gardens, Tampa tomorrow we are very excited. Am looking forward to riding all the big roller coasters. We already went to Universal Studios and SeaWorld and we are going to Disney on Saturday and staying for four days or more.

@@chileanyways196 I would have to say cedar point for the ride collection, Dollywood for a more family oriented and a great atmosphere, and Silver Dollar city for giving thrill and the atmosphere and setting are great here.
I bought a platinum pass and was actually planning to visit BG Williamsburg first but Darkoaster isn't open yet so, I am going to BG TB first in a couple of weeks and SW Orlando shortly after.
heading there in june for my 2nd visit ever. hoping my somewhat bad experience on twisted timbers won't sour me on riding iron gwazi. i'll be riding ArieForce One and twisted cyclone before this, but i just hope it was just a bad ride. hate to say i refuse to ride any more rmc's.
My next visit might in October. I’ve ridden all the coasters there except Scorpion. Want to ride that plus Falcons Flight & Serengeti Flyer which weren’t open last time I was there. Plus ride Montu & Iron Gwazi again

I usually sleep in my car while parked at a truck stop. But if I want to splurge, I like to go for the cheap motels where they ask you if you are staying overnight or for an hour. It's so cheap. lmao
They will charge like a $10 service fee ordering online. The question is if the online price includes a discounted price than the gate price. Any suggestions. I plan to go on Saturday.

Does anyone know what handicap accommodations they have for the line queues and wait times?
My family is planning to go here on July. Am I cooked? Please tell me I’m not because if it’s packed then the lines are probably gonna be very long. Are the lines long during this time?
The key is to go on a weekday if possible...and get to the park at least 45 min early :)
Is this park a lot of walking for elderly/ senior citizen?
Do they sell a tshirt for iron gwazi?
Another tip is to wear zipper pocket shorts or a over the shoulder strap. Easy to lose a billphone or phone from your pocket.

We will be visiting BG and Seaworld for the first time (we are from Belgium) and have a 3 day ticket. I tought to visit 2 days Seaworld because we are staying in Orlando and 1 day BG? Is this enough or would you recommand 2 days BG and 1 day Seaworld? We have no rental car so have to take the transport to BG. Thx for the information.

Try to ride Iron Gwazi in the 2nd half of the day as it makes a big difference after it warms up. Definitely a back row ride.
Cheetah hunt, on the other hand, is best in the front row. Personally, I think it’s the 2nd best ride in the park, but that’s not a popular opinion. It’s kind of like the millennium force of blitz coasters. It’s very fast but not exactly fast-paced if that makes sense. It has a couple excellent airtime moments that actually make your stomach drop and the launches are all pretty good. Other than that it meanders quite a bit, but it’s a long ride. The views and the theme are really cool though. You actually travel through the animal habitats of a cheetah’s prey including Thompson’s gazelles, and you can see them as you’re flying by.
Cheetah hunt is a great ride for something smooth and fun. It is my second favorite ride as well after iron gwazi. Coaster enthusiasts hate on it because it's not too intense. But it does have some thrilling moments that make it worthwhile. I vehemently disagree with those that call it a family coaster. It's not. In fact, I lose some respect for those that call it that because they come off as elitist with a myopic view on coasters.
In Magic Kingdom i waited 2hrs with a mask in for my daughter to go on Its a small world, no wait time can defeat me
The best place to eat is outside of the park. There's a Zekos and a Fazolis very close by. The food inside the park is pretty awful.
Go on a weekday while kids are in school. You will literally have the place to yourself

Thank you so much for making all of these park visit guides. I have so many I want to plan to go to (including BGT) and this helps a lot. Now the only other information I need is where to get a rental car and affordable hotels in the BGT area. Since I would be flying there I need to research airports closest to the park to land at. I have never been to any Florida park and I can’t wait to go!!

As for the cheap hotels I use Priceline and it will show you all of the the nearby hotels by price :-) hope that helps :)
