Damn she is gorgeous. I think its even cooler that she was a kid playing this character(and not an adult), even though the show was relatively short she still grew up along side Toph in the show. Theres so many adult actors that play a kid that when a studio actually chose a literal kid to play a kid its so authentic, it just makes her character seem more real. Pretty freaking cool

One of my earliest memories of Avatar was when Toph was introduced. I was like, "man we got an earth bender joining the party?" That was big and I absolutely liked her
They should’ve teased Toph in an end credit scene in the last episode of the first Avatar Netflix season, but didn’t happen. They also didn’t play the agni kai theme once, and the whole Aang learning firebending from Jong Jong was completely removed, it’s one of the most important episodes, and they were very early on some stuff, like the cave of two lovers, omashu being captured, and even the fog of lost souls, which is korra, but I didn’t mind the Azula scenes, they added to her perfect character in the beginning of the animated show, even if it took a lot away from Zhao’s character, who I didn’t really care for.

I stopped and stood there for the rest of the episode then asked "wait, the show is like this?!!" I was an avid fan ever since. Thanks Michaela for helping bring to life one of the best characters in existence.
I understand what you mean. I was a fan of this from the beginning, but I've definitely had that experience with other shows where you notice how dynamic it is from another episode. That's why I give new shows three episodes, two if they're an hour long, to really impress me, or I just let it go.
