I've worked out on traditional heavy bags ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxp9-sf95nqfjey-uyzxUzQ7m9MXRPK1BE a spherical stuffed "wrecking ball" bag, and now this thing. What I like about it is that it has the heft to stay largely in place so I'm not chasing it around. It's tall enough to allow for headshots and body shots, but it's short enough to give an uppercut somewhere to land. I'm very happy so far. Filling it was a bit of a cluster. For top-offs, I've learned that you can screw the supplied nozzle onto any basic plastic water bottle. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it a week.

This seems like a decent bag to buy. The base is heavy enough without adding plates or sandbags. The spring action seems to be very quick with also the desired flexibility to replicate an opponent in order to work on slippibg/head movement. I like it, but still looking forward to Carlos final thoughts on the bag, since this video is over a year old now. 👍
I bought this bag about a year ago. It broke at the weld within a week and a half. Got it fixed for 5 Euro's. Since then i've used it alot outside of my regular training days. It's really nice for a home workout. Keeps ur hearthrate up. Would recommend it for the price.

I brought the MaxXMMA one from Amazon for $200 and I don’t regret it at all. I’ve been using it since august of this year and it performs amazing. And it has the different settings on how fast you can make the spring rebound. Me and my roommate are full time amateur boxers and we both do 12 rounds of 3 min each on the cobra bag and it has not worn down or had any problems. And it also comes with a pump, 2 bags, and a extra bag where you can fill it up and use it for any exercise.

@@7barney914 very, only problem I had is I had to drill a whole in the metal bar so the pin could go through it and not just press against it. After a couple of days it would loose tension and fall all the way to the bottom.

Based on your review I went looking for 1 of these. For anyone in Aus/NZ Southern Cross Fitness in NSW is selling them under the Arrow brand. Had them onsale @ $249 AUD. I've seen them on Amazon AU from $400AUD - $700 😮 Went up to their show room to check it out. Bag wasn't fully set up, not fully inflated or filled with water, but it looked the real deal. So I bought 1 and picked it up from their warehouse.
After first use, yep it's good, I've been trying to make 1 but could never get it fast enough. This Reflex's back really nicely and gives you lots of experience in missing hooks and uppercuts 😁. Build quality seems very good and much better than those cheapo ones with the spring at the bottom.
My spring washers/gaskets worked and there is an extra one that fits under the speedball. So it doesn't loosen off easily when your punching it. Don't know why there is a foam pad on the bottom pole, you would'nt want to Thai low kick it too hard too many times, "Haven't you seen Buakaw kicking a Banana tree over?"😣
Lastly I've got it standing on those thin Jigsaw mats it rocked a little and then I tried it with the suction cup feet. Now they don't stick to the mat's as they have a rough surface, but they did steady the bag up quite a lot more. Quite nice knowing it looks sturdy. Especially the fact the these things are one of the most expensive training equipment to own, you can't afford to have one that last for only a few rounds.

I think you gotta use 2 lock washers for each ally screw instead of 1 in order for them to fit. And thanks for letting us know how long it take to ship

i have a double end bag but my space changes a lot but my reflex bag is awesome. no attaching to the ceiling and also very very mobile because of this. and it moves towards you way better than a double end bag. maybe pro boxers would say differently. but for my needs as a hobby boxer.....its amazing

I did my own one using aluminum pipes, welding machine (which im lucky to own, but you can rent i guess for the day) a soccer ball plunger funnel a shitton of tape and a 60kg power twister. I works insanelly well

I just got this bag and the assembly's not making sense. The three bolts that go at the top and below the spring don't screw into anything. I've twisted all of them in hard but the entire spring+top part flies off when I hit it.

Was thinking about getting this because I’m gonna be heading out to college next fall, and I know I won’t be able to modify anything in my future apartment. Was looking for a good Cobra Reflex Bag just to take with me because I’m leaving my hometown and going to Winnipeg, Manitoba for college and to train in MMA full time. My current boxing gym has the Title one, but it’s stiff as hell. This looks so much better in the amount of spring you get from hitting it compared to the Title one we got at my gym. I remember in your title reflex double end comparison you mentioned how the title bag is padded which gives you a better workout. So how the air reflex bag compare to the padded bag is there a difference in force you got to put behind the blows
Yeah the title and ringside both use solid foam balls which adds weight to the impact and makes for a little more conditioning to the workout. This one isn’t as heavy obviously but moves much quicker, so it’s offset for faster combinations and quicker reflexes
I know you said you can buy a replacement bag for it, but I haven’t find a replacement bag anywhere, do you know where or how to get a replacement bag if it breaks?

Hey have you tried to attach the suction cups to the bottom yet and fill it with sand instead of water? I'm wondering if each of these separately could add to the stability of the base.

@@csquaredboxing I have the same bag, definitely fill it with sand and use the suction cups! The more stable the base, the quicker the bag moves. Yours actually looks pretty slow compared to mine.
True News do you know how many pounds of sand you used? I currently have mine filled with water and it moves pretty slow because the base doesn’t seem to be stable enough.

I honestly like this better than fierce as fierce doesn’t fit to water filled based. I personally don’t want to pile materials to stabilize the tool. The recoil looks as same as fierce
Aloha 🤙🏾 your video convinced me to purchase off of Amazon, although was experiencing problems with it amongst first heavy use, the metal pole that is attached to the spring system kept flying off also the piece that holds the bag kept coming off also…did you experience this after heavy use? Would love some feed back to remedy

I like the Playerz version they're new in the UK for £249 ish but you can get decent second hand ones off Ebay around £160, they have a strong weld a the base with a large tube, but hey nice review of this generic Chinese version, I've decided to keep away from the cheap Chinese stuff as it seems to be counter-productive breaking a lot if you use the equipment most days, keep it up great channel!

@@bobjed7889Ive had the Cobra for 8 months now and bought it second hand though like new, it has been great no breaks, I don't like the suckers and I needed to move it out of the way so I made a base on wheels and picked up the threads for the suckers with normal bolts to mount the base on, it's solid and I use it loads.

This bag is almost exactly like the reflex bag made by hive. You can also get it on amazon and it takes only days to get to you. The price is the same.

How did u fill it with water/sand or whatever? I bought one aswell to try it but it has no hole to fill the base and I unscrewed the plate to check lol. And since i have my cobra bag outside on the deck the suction cups dont really hold well on the wood they hold better on the wooded floor inside but my lady starts yelling every time i start making noise with this inside the house lmao.
