  • Explore the intriguing possibility that axions-hypothetical particles proposed to solve the strong CP problem in quantum chromodynamics-could constitute the elusive dark matter making up approximately 85% of the universe's mass. Delve into theoretical models suggesting axions were produced in the early universe through mechanisms like the misalignment mechanism, resulting in a cold, non-relativistic population consistent with dark matter characteristics. Discover ongoing experimental efforts, such as the Axion Dark Matter Experiment (ADMX), which aims to detect axions by observing their conversion into microwave photons in strong magnetic fields.
Join us as we unravel the potential of axions to address fundamental questions in particle physics and cosmology.

Thank you for making these videos. Some of these words go completely over my head but it's such an interesting topic. We know so little and yet so much, it's amazing that we cab categorize these things and have theories over how they're made or what they do.

Really enjoy your videos. I watch them while I fall asleep every night. The narration is key. Perfection. Keep it up boys

One would look into phase wave interactions ,axions may be built ,or not it all depends on an areas temp, and there for, phase wave interactions are more prevalent

How so? Please explain. While I am a long retired physicist (PhD’s in Electro-Optics/Plasma Physics and QED), this may be something with which I simply am not familiar. Your tolerance is appreciated.

I wonder how long ago this was created? It mentions Aricibo which self-destructed a while ago

Nice. A semi-garbage video about axions that is only 18 minutes long gets AI after AI video tacked on to it. What 💩

muon neutrinos (dipole electrons) = gravity = dark matter = mystery solved :P
It sort of seems obvious to me. 85% of matter is 'missing', and gravity isnt accounted for in a particle. Do u think these things might be related??? ;p

    "Can Axions Be Dark Matter?"
The answer is no, because according to best experimental results currently available, (which if they did exist should have detected them,) they don't exist.

@ many channel owners will take suggestions for improvements to their content from their subscribers and viewers. It’s actually quite common. This isn’t one of the most popular channels by any means, however it’s amongst the middle of the pack and one way to stand taller than rest would be to get rid of Billy Bob the narrator. I know I’m not alone in this feeling because I’ve read comments in a similar vein before

No. Because dark mater does not exist... The plasmid/ electromagnetism universe explains the action observed..., so get over it. Start doing real research...

    • @saucewaffle1074

dark matter and energy is still the prevailing theory, and this information is relevant regardless

@saucewaffle1074 the blind are leading the blind, and tenured docs just chasing the funding , but it'll be a dead end , the answer already exists and its a case of Occam's razor.
